J & J Lounge

This was a very positive experience. First of all the young man who took our order, I did not get your name, but you were top notch in customer service. You were patient, kind, respectful, thoughtful, and attentive. Now to the food. It was fresh, served hot, seasoned well and NOT overly seasoned. The food portions was more than fair. The music. The music was awesome. I haven't heard that type of music in years. It was a great experience. I went here based on a recommendation and I was not disappointed. The only suggestion. Add some desserts to the menu. A great meal needs to be paired with a great dessert. Thank you so much!

Whoever is answering the phone is Extremely Super Outstandingly Rude I called very humble-like hoping to at least getting an answer when asking if they were possibly looking for a pair of extra hands in the kitchen. The Guy as soon as he heard this hung the phone up in my face as if I was no one or nothing Wow.😓 Don't go there y'all just stay away from business like this and if he's just a worker I'm pretty sure he's connected to the owners or someone and they still allow him to work there. Just stay away. Oh and I'm a Chef who attended Culinary Institute Lenotre just gonna leave that there.

The customer service has never been an issue here anytime I've gone. And the food was better when I would go in the past. But today, I was highly disappointed. I got the grilled pork chops with seafood gravy. The rice was not cooked all the way and there were alot of hard pieces, the so called gravy was very watery amd looked like chicken broth and didn't have much flavor and there were more onions on the late than shrimp and sausage. And for $29, it was so not worth the drive or money. Maybe next time I will stick with a chicken salad or burger basket. The owner was nice and gave me a drink with my food.

This was my first time going there in years. After tell my out of town friend that it was a great down lounge, I was really finnalldisappointed. We told the cashier that we wanted to eat in. We paid for the food and waited almost an hour to be served. When we got our burgers they were wrapped to go. We asked why and she said that he didn't feel like making baskets. The fries were cold, so we sent them back and they bought us some hot fries. We wasn't told that the wait would be long. I won't be going back nor will I recommend them to anyone else

I went for the 1st time on Saturday Oct. 18, 2025. I ordered a turkey burger basket & 6pcs lemon pepper wing basket that food was sooo good. I'm definitely plan on going back. The inside was clean I enjoyed the music that was playing I took my food to go but next time I will eat in.
