Upon first glance, I thought I was in for a treat, but to my surprise, the box was filled with rice with little food on top of it. Shown in the pics. I feel deceived, to say the least. On top of that, roughly ΒΌ-β…“ of my 🐐 was bones. The flavor was good, and the texture was okay. Was it worth $18.67? NEVER. Now, if there was no rice under my goat and cabbage, then most definitely. I will return and try the smaller portion with NO rice and see how that turns out. Hopefully, it's worth the $14. I'm not sure if I can truly recommend it. Thought I had a winner πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™‚οΈπŸ€£

I've seen mixed reviews for this place. My personal experience was good. The customer service was on point, though not the typical falling over themselves to appease your every whim type of service common in the US, so bear that in mind when forming expectations. I had the stew chicken, it was delicious. It's no frills, homestyle food, but that's what I was wanting and expecting. Food doesn't need to be pretty, trendy, or blow your mind to be good. Drive thu only. Open 11AM-9PM every day except Sunday.

The food here has great flavor. I ordered the Curried Goat. The curry sauce has Excell flavor and spice, and has a nice heat. The portions are great, too. The goat was served on top of a bed of beans and rice with cabbage and mixed vegetables on the side. The vegetables were noticeably the frozen kind, but that did not deter me from enjoying the main dish. It also came with two fried plantains, which I loved. My wife ordered the Oxtail dish, which was in a savory sweet sauce. The meat was so tender and chewy. It also was atop a bed of beans and rice with the same vegetable sides. This place has great Jamaican main dishes.

Words aren't enough to describe how good this food was! I ordered the brown stew chicken with rice & peas with coco bread and a beef patty ( they made my beef patty fresh as well). Everything was fresh, flavorful and tasted homemade with lots of love and care. The portions were amazing; definitely enough to have leftovers. They are also very sweet and kind! They made my beef patty fresh when I called in my order because I sounded like I was about to cry when they said they were out lollll. You don't find many businesses that will go out of their way like that anymore so it was much appreciated! If you're looking for a good meal made by kinds hands this is the spot! They most definitely gained a loyal customers and I plan to bring as many people as I can!

Not the best. I had oxtails. They served two tiny oxtails over a ton of rice and boiled cabbage. The beef patty was delicious! The Jamaican soda was very refreshing as well!
