I've been regularly visiting Houston. I've visited a lot of Desi Groceries, but this is one of the finest, very well maintained and neat and clean store. Their staff is very friendly and cooperative. This place is going great under the management of Mack. Please keep it up.

The day has come that I am able to leave a 5 star review for a desi store. Very clean well organized and the availability of products and prices are just wow. This will Be my new store. I hope the customer service is good as well If I ever have to deal with them but over all so far very happy. The fact that they had the whole lineup of doughstory by dawn just made my day. Its so hard to find those parathas.

I only needed basmati for thanksgiving week as I was out of rice. They had that, a recent enough crop, and at competitive prices. I would not trust them for much more than their dry spice and rice. I don't think they have enough customers to quickly enough turn inventory. They bit off more than they could chew. They stocked no fresh veggies when I went in. If they cannot be a one stop shop, they will fail when competitors offer so much value, if they cannot turn over their fresh ingredients they will fail. I think they owe their freezer installer a lawsuit based on the condensation patterns through the paint. That's putting it nicely. I had high hopes for them and feel sorry for the hole I think they might be in business-wise. Other google reviews seem... ... inflating of the situation. I've seen enough Kitchen Nightmares to know if they're lying to themselves they're compounding the problem. I don't normally review lowly, but I want to see them succeed.

DO NOT GO THERE! I was checking out and first the lady at the counter was giving me in correct change. Then I noticed oil on the bag. The lady at the counter DID NOT wash her hands after eating and was handling my grocery and cash with dirty, oily food hands. There was food still on her hands!! YUCK!! I was so so so disgusted, I left without getting my change back. This is a major violation!!

Good people with excellent meat prices and fresh cuts every time. Love them . And I really am very surprised that more people do not shop there. Their meat quality is so much better and the prices are an additional bonus among other things.
