Hyderabadi Chai & Grill

We visited Hyderabad Chai and Grill for dinner. Food was very nice. We tried kulcha, paratha and a couple of vegetarian curries. Taste was very nice. Service was little slow. At the end, we ordered their signature chai and it was amazing. Reminded good old Hyd days. Manager made it a complimentary chai for us. They didn’t have to do it but it was nice of them. If you are not in rush and in mood for a good food, recommend this place.

Disappointing Experience with Overly Oily Paya and Poor Customer Service I've ordered from Hyderabadi Grill multiple times now, and unfortunately, I’ve had the same negative experience every time. This is the fourth time I’ve received a full container of paya with an overwhelming amount of oil floating on top, making the dish inedible and unpleasant. I had mentioned this issue before and even instructed the staff to reduce the oil, but it seems that nothing has changed. Despite clearly communicating my preferences, the restaurant continues to disregard my requests. Not only that, but the customer service has been equally disappointing. The cashier was extremely rude and, to make matters worse, disconnected the phone when I tried to address my concerns. This lack of professionalism and attention to customer feedback is unacceptable, especially when you are paying for quality food and service. I hope that Hyderabadi Grill takes this feedback seriously and works on improving both the quality of their dishes and their customer service. We went to Aga's from Austin but the waiting line was too long. So went this one very near by from Aga's. Peshwar chicken was at different level taste. Great service. Reasonable cost. I feel all the better than Aga's.

I recently had the most delightful experience at Hyderabadi Chai & Grill, and it's truly a hidden gem for authentic Indian street food and more! This place is fantastic, especially for a late-night dinner after a movie, as they're open till 2:00 AM. The moment you walk in, the hosts are incredibly courteous and welcoming, setting a warm and inviting tone. The atmosphere is vibrant and clean, making for a very pleasant dining experience. Now, let's talk about the food – it's simply excellent! I've tried several dishes, and each one has been a hit. The "Hyderabadi Goat Karahi" is a must-try; it's incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked. Their "Chicken Schezwan" and "Chicken Manchurian" were also really good, showcasing authentic Mumbai-style flavors. I'm quite particular about naan, and their "Garlic Naan" is one of the best I've ever had – perfectly crisp yet soft. The "Shrimp fried rice" is also highly recommended. For dessert, both the "Kaddu ka Halwa" and "Gajjar ka Halwa" are absolutely divine. What truly impressed me was the freshness of the food; everything is made to order, ensuring top quality.
