We went to Aga's from Austin but the waiting line was too long. So went this one very near by from Aga's. Peshwar chicken was at different level taste. Great service. Reasonable cost. I feel all the better than Aga's.

Disappointing Experience with Overly Oily Paya and Poor Customer Service I've ordered from Hyderabadi Grill multiple times now, and unfortunately, I’ve had the same negative experience every time. This is the fourth time I’ve received a full container of paya with an overwhelming amount of oil floating on top, making the dish inedible and unpleasant. I had mentioned this issue before and even instructed the staff to reduce the oil, but it seems that nothing has changed. Despite clearly communicating my preferences, the restaurant continues to disregard my requests. Not only that, but the customer service has been equally disappointing. The cashier was extremely rude and, to make matters worse, disconnected the phone when I tried to address my concerns. This lack of professionalism and attention to customer feedback is unacceptable, especially when you are paying for quality food and service. I hope that Hyderabadi Grill takes this feedback seriously and works on improving both the quality of their dishes and their customer service. I will not be ordering from here again unless these issues are addressed. This review clearly addresses the issues you’ve faced and could help other potential customers know what to expect. We went there at 10 pm and the food was amazing!! We ordered the chicken white kadai boneless, chicken chatpata, a special dish only made on Saturdays and garlic & butter nans. The guys were so sweet and nice that explained us their dishes, recommended us their special Saturday dish. They were so kind and they treated us with an AMAZING dessert: Laukey Hawa! Sooo good!!! We will definitely come back when we are in Houston again! ¡Muchas gracias por una comida tan deliciosa y servicio muy agradable!

Extremely misleading pricing and poor customer service. I ordered hara kheema based on the price listed online and on Google ($13.99). When I got home, I saw I was charged $34.62 for two kheemas. When I called the restaurant to question the charge, I was told the price is $15.99 per kheema and that they don’t use the website prices. No apology, no accountability — just excuses. If the posted prices aren’t honored, they should be updated or removed. Leaving incorrect pricing online is misleading, plain and simple. This isn’t about a few extra dollars — it’s about honesty and basic customer respect. Very disappointing experience.

It has been far too long since my last visit to Hyderabadi Chai & Grill, and I realized I have been missing out on some truly exceptional, home-style cooking. The flavors in every dish we ordered—from the Peshawri Chicken and Kadai Goat to the Egg Masala, Dal Tadka, and the Bullet Naan and Paratha—were absolutely outstanding. Each bite was a testament to the kitchen's mastery of spice and authenticity. Even the salad was expertly prepared, offering a perfect balance of tanginess and heat. Beyond the food, the service was exceptional. The staff provided a warm, personal touch and were incredibly attentive to our every request. Without a doubt, this is the best Desi cuisine in town. I look forward to returning much more frequently.
