I stopped in here last night for a bite. I got the Mac and Cheese with chicken bites. I had the slaw on the side. It was delicious!! The chicken was seasoned perfectly and the spice was on point. I got Heat Up spice..not too hot but you could feel the heat. I wish there was one of these places closer to me bc I would definitely be a regular! The cole slaw was good as well. The establishment is super cute and clean. Only weird thing was you had to ask for a key to use the rest room but atleast it was clean.

This is one of H Town's first hit chicken eateries and it's taken me a while to get here. The service was lacking as it appeared they're understaffed. I get it most places are. The space was clean, neat, and not crowded. The food was good, decent, not great, probably just above average. Their price point is probably lower than other hot chicken places. My cohorts and I give it a 7/10. I'd return of in the area.

My recent experience at Howdy Hot Chicken was a mix of highs and lows. I placed a phone order but encountered a slight issue with the order taker, as I received a sandwich when I had requested strips. It seems like there might be room for improvement in their training or perhaps using cellphones for orders isn't ideal. On the bright side, the store itself was clean and well-maintained, which is always a plus. When I visited in person, the cashier was more helpful and attentive, which made the experience smoother. The spot's cleanliness and nice decor added to the overall positive impression. In summary, Howdy Hot Chicken offers a decent dining experience with room for improvement in phone order accuracy. The cleanliness, decor, and helpful in-person service make it a spot worth considering for your chicken cravings.

Let’s Eat Life

Let’s Eat Life

Let’s be fair and honest, it doesn’t get a perfect score due a couple of things however let’s not pretend like this place isn’t good, on the contrary It’s GREAT (if you can afford it and have a high tolerance for heat)!! 1) it’s a bit expensive for what it is, even though the portion size is BIG it’s still very expensive compared to others. 2) nothing is a combo. Fries and drinks sold separately. Meaning even more money. 3) the dine-in experience it’s alright. The fountain machine is a bit far away from the tables thus meaning that if you’re chocking on food or are in need of liquid to drown the spice be prepared to walk to the end of the restaurant from the lobby. It’s not a big deal if you’re not hindered or impaired however if the heat of the food gets to you, that little trip becomes a long walk. 4) if you’re not a spicy lover this place isn’t for you. Make sure to ask about the heat level or ask for a sample before you buy. I made the mistake of not asking enough questions about the spice and almost died due to the extreme heat of the chicken. 5) they’re are 5 levels of spice: 1) Harmless - didn’t try. No comment on 2) Howdy - did try. Lacks a bit of punch. Mid. 3) Heat up - the spice kicked in. Hella hot. 4) Howlin - had me in tears. This is hot. 5) Have Mercy - a huge mistake. Do not recommend. Heat up is by far the best option and most tasty. If you don’t know I’ll tell you now, Have Mercy is made with Carolina Reaper. That is way too hot for the average person. It’s been a week since i ate there and I’m still not fully recovered. TLDR: it’s tasty but expensive. If you love heat and spice in your chicken, try it out but be mindful of what you order. Overall it’s big portions that are full of spice and flavor just overpriced.
