Came here for dine-in and it was very busy — definitely a popular spot. There was a steady crowd the whole time, so be prepared for a bit of noise and a lively atmosphere. It feels like one of those places that’s always in demand. I probably over-ordered because everything looked good on the menu. The portions are generous, and the barbecue was flavorful and well-smoked. The brisket had a nice bark and smoky aroma, and the ribs were tender with good seasoning. Even though I ordered too much, the quality was solid. In the end, we had to pack up quite a bit to take home — which honestly isn’t a bad thing because the leftovers were still great. Overall, very tasty BBQ, just come hungry and maybe plan your order carefully!

It was so good that it soothed my soul and made me blissfully happy. I had to try all so I got 4 meats and then got crawfish from the bar next door. The line was around the corner of the building when I was eating (luckily when I arrived not that long) but I still waited about 30min to order.) WAS WORTH THE WAIT! And the atmosphere in the bar next door was friendly lively and joyful. As a tourist here, it was all that I needed.

This is some of the best BBQ I've ever had. Expect to wait during busy times of the day. We went just around lunchtime and there was a line that wrapped around the building to get in! Worth the wait and I will definitely be back when I am in the Houston area. Brisket, sausage, pork rib, potato salad, elote... everything was amazing!

The food was cooked perfectly! The brisket and wagu ribs were juicy the venison sausage is a must the potato salad was a surprise of flavor explosion. The Mac and cheese was ok... a little plain. They have a pickled side bar that was great. You get your food fast just be ready to order.

The Pit Room is still one of my go-to spots whenever friends come to town and I want to show them what real Texas barbecue tastes like. I stopped by recently with an out-of-town friend later in the evening, hoping it would still hit the mark, and it absolutely did. We ordered brisket, ribs, and sausage, and everything came out hot, tender, and packed with flavor. The brisket was the highlight. After one bite, my friend mentioned they had never really liked brisket before, which pretty much summed up how good it was. The smoke level was perfect, the seasoning was balanced, and the texture was exactly what you want from great barbecue. Even the sides were just as solid. The whole experience was easy and relaxed. The staff was welcoming, the service moved quickly, and the outdoor seating made it a great place to sit back and enjoy the meal without feeling rushed.
