It’s Scary To Remarry

Our first experience at House of Pies was okay. The food was decent. I had scrambled eggs and sausage patties, and my wife had the French toast with bacon and eggs. However, if you have a sweet tooth, this is definitely the place for pies

Food was fantastic. I got the cheesesteak omelette. Definitely a good price for the amount of food I got. I also got the strawberry rhubarb pie and bayou goo pie because I couldn’t decide between them. Both were delicious. Wait staff was super attentive and friendly. Might be my new favorite spot to eat.

I like the food here, but the waitress only came by three times. The first was to take our order, the second time was to bring us our food, and the last time was to make sure we were still doing fine, but we didnt need her anymore at that time. I need her to come before the last visit so I can ask for a box to take my food home so I ended up giving the rest to my boyfriend to finish.

I'm from the UK and drove past this restaurant the other day. So today I thought I would give it a try. I walked in and it was just like I expect an American dinner to be. All the staff were helpful. Food wise I had sausage patties, eggs, fries and toast to eat in and I also had a Bayou Goo pie to take out. All food was excellent

Fix your door We are cold

I let the waitress know my egg was overcooked, she offered to have it replaced. I politely declined and told her I just thought she should give the feedback to the cook so he does a better job. She offered to send the manager and I said “sure”. She came back a few minutes later to tell me he didn’t have time to speak to us but he had given us a “free meal”. I insisted on paying for the meal and I simply wanted to give some feedback on the cook, nothing more, nothing less. When I went up to the register to pay for my meal I asked the man at the register if he was the manager. He said he was. I asked him why he didn’t have time to come speak to a customer. He was rude, unprofessional and kept interrupting me. I let him know how disappointing his behavior was and left. My dad was with me this morning and he stayed inside to finish paying the bill and he witnessed the manager chastising the waitress for NO REASON. The waitress did a fantastic job serving us, the manager on the other hand was terrible. So my dad told her she did a great job and gave her an additional tip. Pictured are the manager and the overcooked eggs. All I wanted was to give some simple feedback, would have taken 30seconds for him to speak to me about it….
