Even if I love Chinese food I think I wouldn't recommend this place to most ppl, this is a review of the first time I stopped by and decided to eat something different, the place was empty except for 2 kids that were a little loud (prob the kids are part of the lady that works in front counter) they didn't bothered me but for being a "Restaurant" I think it would be better if they were in the back or in another place, the lady at the front didn't greet me or anything she directly asked me if I was going to order for to-go something that kinda surprised me cause the bare minimum would be greeting the costumer and then asking if I was going to eat there or if I was going to place an order for to-go, I thought that it was a language barrier thing cause she has a mandarin accent but some costumers came in and she talked in a more friendly way and seemed a little more attentive with them, idk if it was because I'm Italian instead of American but what pissed me off internally about the place was that when I was asking about the menu she was constantly trying to leave instead of answering the few questions I had, she couldn't even give me a recommendation of the menu and that's pretty sad, the food was good and it was ready in less than 5 mins, but I think it lacked some seasoning in one of the things I ordered. Besides that even if the food is not bad I don't think is the best place to go. If u want decent food and u r close and don't care about service u can go ahead and get inside, eat and the leave, but service wise I expected more form this place.

Updated thoughts.... After reading through some of the reviews there seems to be a pattern of certain customers getting good service and certain customers being treated poorly There are so many friendlier restaurants don't go to this place I'm amazed they are even in business. I arrived at 1:15pm and left at 2pm. I was the only customer. The lady did not greet me when I came in. She acted like I was going to rob the place. She was not friendly at all. When she seated me I asked for a glass of water while I looked at the menu, but she wouldn't bring it until I ordered. The food was the average typical Chinese fare nothing memorable. I had the Kung Pao Chicken with fried rice and wonton soup lunch special. When I paid my check she didn't bother to say thank you or goodbye or anything. She just took the receipt and walked away. In 45 minutes not a single person ( dine in, take-out or delivery) came to the restaurant. One would think she would have been appreciative that I gave them a visit. Won't ever go back there again. There are too many restaurants to choose from to spend money at a place with average food and unfriendly workers.

We love Hot Wok. It's our go to place for delicious Chinese food. The staff is always super nice. My absolute favorite dishes are the kung pao chicken and the Singapore noodles. My family really likes the fried rice and lo mien. The dumplings are also a hit. I find the flavors are really good. It's not too salty. Nothing is sweet or sticky. It's just good, flavorful food with real vegetables in it. I normally eat my meals with white rice so I can't speak to the fried rice but my family finishes it quickly!!

Got greeted as I walked in, asked a few questions about the menu as it was my first time. Ordered my food and it was in my hand in about 10 minutes. Food was hot and fresh, very flavorful. Idc what the bad reviews said about this place, I have absolutely no complaints.

I walked in. The lady in the front very dry. No greeting nor even eye contact. It was my first time stopping in on my lunch break. So I took some time to read over menu. I asked a couple of questions far as paying before or after. She looked at me very dry and responded before. Then a group of people came in and just sat down. I looked at her and she knows exactly what I was thinking. That was very rude and I will never come back to this place. I am a woman of color and they weren’t. I didn’t make a scene. I politely walked and didn’t even finish my food. The soup wasn’t that great.the rice was dry. What I don’t understand is if you don’t like my kind why place your business in our community. Very disappointing
