I love taking clients and family to this place. Lunch or dinner the atmosphere never disappoints and I have not found sushi I prefer ANYWHERE. Very good quality rolls. My husband gets the hot skillet of spicy pork and that is also like nothing we have had elsewhere. If you eat sushi do yourself a favor and come here.

Finally got around to trying Hikari. I’ve heard nothing but good things about this place and I loved it. The sushi is huge ! They have such a diverse menu of rolls I’ve never seen anywhere else. Service was seamless, food was quick. I can’t wait to come back and try more. I went around 2:30 on a weekday. there weren’t many people in there. Very comfortable atmosphere. Pictured top to bottom: 1. three roll combo from the menu that starts at 2:30 pm. classic shaggy dog, california and crunchy california rolls. 2. wild flowers roll: 8/10 3. sky diver roll: 10/10 would get this every time.

I’ve been coming to Hikari Sushi on Hwy 6 for years—always fresh, consistent, and well-priced. The lunch specials are a great deal (see pic!). I usually get the Shaggy Dog Roll ($13)—crispy shrimp tempura with spicy mayo and eel sauce. Sushi Combo A is another go-to: 6 pieces of nigiri and a California roll for $18. I also like to add the agedashi tofu for just $5.50. Their poke bowls are also excellent—fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned ($12-$16). Tips: • Come during lunch—prices are hard to beat • Staff is always friendly and welcoming • If you order to-go, they often include free miso soup! Definitely one of my favorite local sushi spots.
