High Flyin' Wings

We used to go to the Big City Wings branch in Katy, and since that one closed we decided to try this location. The atmosphere is good—clean, lively, and comfortable—and the drinks and service were the usual, no complaints. Unfortunately, the wings weren’t worth it this time: the flavor fell flat and they seemed barely tossed in sauce. We tried a few different sauces and had the same result. Overall, a solid spot to hang out, but we’ll look elsewhere if we’re craving standout wings.

Feeling a little disappointed after our last order. My boyfriend and I placed a to go order each. He received his food first even though I ordered before he did. My order was supposed to be ready by 7:26 and wasn’t ready until 7:58. On my order (as you can see on the attached pictures) there was no jalapeños, even though I paid extra for them, the bun was not toasted, and the burger was not well done instead of medium well. On my boyfriend’s order it was missing a mac and cheese side that he paid extra for and his special requests were also not fulfilled. I hope they take this feedback for constructive criticism so they can improve on their service.

Food was ok. Not bad but not great. Service was slow to start but picked up after we got our food. Took a bit to take our order. Was expecting more based on Michael Berry's praises of this place. Med buffalo wings had no spice at all. I usually complain about food being too spicy. I tasted none. My son said the more spicy (per the menu) crawdad wings had a little zing but not spicy. Al Pastor fries were a bit pricy for what you get.

First time visiting and it was good, not great... But we'll definitely be back. Next time we'll just be asking for the wings to be extra crispy/extra hot. Fry trio was good to try. The wing sauces run on the milder side so don't be afraid to aim high! Great beer specials. *EDIT* Visit #2: Big City Sampler puts Plucker's to shame!

I’m from Colorado visiting and this was the best place! Such friends and sooo accommodating! They went above and beyond. Cherish was our waitress and she was amazing!
