I can truly say this place was just as I hoped it was very very good...the owner was very friendly and supportive with getting my order....I definitely recommend all come here when ever you in the mood for some good ox tails.....the best in town!!!!

My old looking vegetarian plate was 3 items $12.99. Orkra sausage had 1 tiny old sausage cabbage was old greasy looking, greens looked old. Nothing looked freshly cooked at 12noon. Cornbread was small and good. Took a picture, no post link available. I would show my plate I am throwing away.

As soon as you walk in you’re greeted with a big beautiful smile 😄 the customer service was amazing. They go above and beyond to give you the most delicious soul food and moist cake 🍰 I can’t wait to go back.

Friendly. Fast. Tasteful. Authentic home cooking. Southern style. Real smoked wood BBQ meat cuts available daily. Fresh fried chicken. Pork chop. Many side items daily prepared fresh. Menu changes frequently. Prepared daily. Mom and Pop style. You will be satisfied.

Found this place by chance. I had a craving for some soul food. This was the closest location to me. I read a few reviews and said let's go. I'll make my own review. The food here is definitely made and served with LOVE! The reviews told me I had to get the oxtails and they did not disappoint! My sides were black eyed peas and cabbage. Both great. The owner Mrs. Darilyn let me try the green beans and if I tried those first I would have gotten those instead of the cabbage. The cabbage was good, but the green beans were bomb! I also tried spinach with chicken. I ended up with an extra side of that as well! The energy in the room made me feel like family! First timers get a hug from the lady herself! I also got a cup of her specialty drink. It is sweet, but that's just how I like it! After reading a few reviews I will say she does have tables and chairs if you want to eat there and she does make her food daily so the menu is based on her spirit that day. If you want the works she says come on Sunday! Closed on Mondays. She also had meatloaf, baked chicken, and a few more items, but I came for the oxtails. Authentic soul food with flavor!
