Havana House Cuban Eatery

Havana house has excellent food and service. There is outside seating if you don’t want to listen to music. The only negative I have is the booths… whoever chose them should have sat in them first!

Great service and authentic food. We've followed them from the old food truck days. The one thing to improve I could say is explaining the apps, we got a stuffed potatoe ball, we thought it was multiple but it was one, we would of gladly gotten a few after seeing the great price. Again the food is amazing and service is too! Photos of ropa vieja, and the filled potatoe ball.

Driving down 1488 we saw the billboard for Havana House and decided to try it. Since we wanted something on the “lighter” side, we decided to get a Medianoche and Cuban sandwich. Both were delicious. We are looking forward to going back and ordering the ropa vieja, oxtails, and getting the guayaba and cream cheese pastries.

Food was amazing and the service was great! Lady at the front tried speaking English and was as helpful as possible with English only speaking guest. I know spanish so it was really easy for me to place my order, but they will accommodate if you don't. I had the Cuban Sandwich and it was amazing. Filled with meat and just the right amount of condiments. The Guava Cheese puff was great too, although lacking on the cheese portion. Overall, definitely recommend!

I am a huge fan of the Cuban sandwich! I’m American and lived in Miami for 20 years when growing up and it’s hard to find in Houston an authentic Cuban restaurant.. I sat outside, music playing. Not busy during lunch time either. Looking forward to coming here again. The potion is enough to feed two people
