Harold’s Chicken in Houston was delicious and made fresh to order. The restaurant was clean with a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff was polite and patient while I placed my order. The food came out hot and flavorful, and the service made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be returning!

The people were very nice and welcoming. The timing to get the food is quite lengthy. It took 50 mins for 4 wings and fries. The wings were fresh and delicious but my fries weren't fresh (I really wish I got fresh fries so I could've tried it with the sauce). The pizza puff was really good as well. I got a Long Island and a $2 margarita. I would've gotten more to drink but a 20 min wait for a frozen margarita deterred me. It was worth having the experience, just would want to return when the wait times are shorter. If the drinks are flowing, that could distract from the long wait for the food. **it's a little cheaper if you use cash

Walked in no greeting. Two employees walked past us. No acknowledgment. Someone from the back finally hand us a menu. Ordered 6 wing plate and a catfish plate. Employee states 20-25 minutes. More like 45. Get home and the wings are EXTREMELY TINY and the fries are stale. Oh and very loud so be prepared for that. The Bears were playing. 0/10 overall.

I decided to give this place a second chance because It seems like they did a complete revamp from the previous restaurant. However, the experience was less than pleasing. The food was very underwhelming. Fries were cold and not good. The server brought no napkins to the table. Everything that we needed that was essential to eating a meal had to be asked for. When our bill was brought to us, it was $91 for two drinks, a 4 piece meal and two 8 piece meals. They charged an automatic gratuity for two people, and then when I looked at the receipt, it said that the meal included coleslaw which we never got. After I mentioned it to the server, she told me that the coleslaw was complementary however, it was on the receipt as being a part of the meal? I stated that it was fine. I wasn’t tripping about it, but due to her, knowing that she was lying about it, she decided to go and bring it out as we were packing up to leave. I get to the car. I totaled my receipt and my total came to $88.39 however, we were charged $91 and some change. When I mentioned the charge to the bartender, she took my receipt with an attitude and totaled it up getting the same total that I had of $88.39. She’s then proceeded to say that there were the two dollar and some change processing fee, but it didn’t reflect on the receipt. I wasn’t tripping about the two dollars. It’s just the principal I will never visit this place again and by the time you read this review, you probably won’t either because I’m sure they’ll be closing soon.
