Found Granny's Tamales on sheer luck. Was off to a house party/get together, and picked up some tamales on the way. Friendly service, helpful to make a decision, and was also able to try a few small pieces for my next visit. The price point is on the higher side for the size. $15 for a dozen. This could be a miss for some due to price point or size. However, this is the closest I've had to my families own recipe and would gladly pick up more as we only cook them once a year. The pork would be my recommendation to pick up, which is also one of their best sellers. The chicken tamales were on the dry side, hopefully it was just a miss on this batch. If you're looking for a new spot and feeling like Tamales, come give Granny's a shot. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised and enjoyed. Until next time.

Very disappointed. I placed an online order at 5:30am for pickup at 11am. When I got there they couldn’t find the ticket for my order and had to go online to retrieve it only to tell me they were out of one the tamales I ordered. They did not get my order prepared while they had them because they totally missed printing out my ticket. They then said they could not refund me for those tamales but could give a different kind. I really didn’t want a different kind but chose one anyway. Then of course the first thing you do when you get to your car is eat a tamale. The disappointment grew. They are all masa, very very tiny amount of chicken in it, we are talking about such a small amount you can barely see it.

I bought tamales today and they were a disappointment. The first chicken tamale out the batch had a moldy corn husk. The chicken, jalapeno and cheese tamales were all masa and barely any filling. Not to mention how tiny these tamales are for the price they sell them at. Still trying to find out why people praise this place. Y'all probably love taco bell too. Smh.

OK stopped in for some tamales just passing by and immediately got excited. I had chicken and sweet corn. Really tasty tamales. Will be back to try more goodies, but make sure you find this hidden treasure from the street... it's nestled in the back. We literally ran to the car to eat because it started sprinkling, but man! Great job granny! I'm a fan!

Try these … do yourself a favor. You can have a family snack for a family of 3-4 for $15.00🤩. I usually have the original or spicy original. We have taken these to family gatherings with rave reviews 😎… the green sauce has a kick😲 This past weekend. September 8 2014. they had started making brisket tamales. Oh my very very delicious.
