Gran Colombia Restaurante

Horrible service!!! If you aren't a men or Colombian, they will not give you proper service. We arrived to the restaurant around 7:20pm ( it was not busy at all) and ordered two bandeja pisas with an older lady named Vanessa. A group of 4 men arrived about 20 mins after us. We had already ordered with her and we knew they were gonna take some time ( all Colombian restaurants take forever usually even though they might be empty). However, this place took way longer (45 mins ) to bring ONE plate!! The runner lady said that the second plate was coming. Tell me why they had the audacity to bring out 3 bandejas over the span of 15mins for the table of men that arrived later. We got Vanessas attention (because she was only attending the men’s table and ignoring us) and asked if the plate was coming in which she said it was next. We kept looking to see if the second plate was coming to us for the next 7mins, but no!! They finally brought the plate BUT they kept up with the audacity and brought us an INCOMPLETE plate stating that they were going to bring the pork belly separately!!!! At this point my food ( the first plate the brought us) was cold. How was I supposed to eat while my family member has not received her food! We were over it and wanted to leave so we asked an older lady named Sophie for a supervisor/manager and for the check. They said there was no manger and they the delay was due to probably submitting the other tables order first ( like HOW if they arrived 20 mins after when we had already ordered our meals. Also my plate had arrived before anyone’s - it would have been delayed too if that was true). We asked for a supervisors number and for our food to be packed up. AGAIN, they took 10 mins to pack the food!!!! And that was just for the plate that took forever. We had to ask for a to go plate to pack my food! Also to ask for salsa rosada it was like if I had to beg them!! They finally gave me the sauce after asking 3 times. They didn’t even give us the supervisors number. Overall terrible and humiliating experiencing! We love Colombian food, but man, the older ladies working there are very arrogant and have no serving hospitality! They need a serving 101 training course ASAP.

The food is good. It’s everything else - -Dirty tables/seats, floors, restroom. -One English speaking waitress. -AC not on (it did finally kick on) -the long wait for food -female white staff too busy playing with each other’s hair to bring bill -no one to greet with you when you walk in - find your own seat -we both didn’t like the pork belly -plantains were mushy Rice and beans were delicious. Chimichurri sauce was good. Beautiful patio with big screen. Huge play area for kids.

Ines gave me great customer service and the food was warm and delicious to eat. She made sure everything was good at all times and made the atmosphere for the game as an experience with her great vibe

The food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable compared to other places. They offer authentic dishes with generous portion sizes. Service may be slow, which is typical for similar restaurants, but the quality of the food makes up for it. Keep in mind if you're in a hurry.

The service and food was great! Our server Ines was very kind and helpful. We don’t usually eat Colombian food so we had questions about the meals and Ines was very helpful and patient in answering all of our questions. Definitely recommend due to food and especially the service! Ask for Ines!
