Goode Co Armadillo Palace

We had a great experience at Goode Co. Armadillo Palace! The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and made our visit feel welcoming from start to finish. We started with the deviled eggs (6/10). They were good but didn’t stand out compared to the rest of the meal. For entrées, we ordered the 10 oz carne asada (medium) with handmade corn tortillas (8/10). The steak was well-seasoned and cooked perfectly, and the fresh tortillas were a great touch. The 12 oz pork rib chop (9.5/10) was the highlight—super tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Definitely recommend! The white cheddar macaroni and cheese (8.5/10) was creamy and delicious, a perfect comfort side. I also had a margarita (8.5/10) that was well-balanced and refreshing. Overall: Great service, flavorful food, and a fun atmosphere. We’ll absolutely be back!

First things first… arrived and was seated by “Hannah” which I greatly appreciated she heard us say it was cold so she seated us in the restaurant away from ac vents which temperature was perfects. So we ordered fried okra as our starter and at first I can honestly say I wasn’t impressed. It was a little undercooked for my liking. However spoke with waitresses “Gabby” and the manager “Bird” bc he wanted to know how I’d like my okra and when I say okra came back out perfect. Crispy and cooked completely through for our meal we came because we noticed they had chili Fritos which it’s cold out when I say chili was excellent best chili I’ve ever tasted here in Texas. We were so happy with both our food and experience that we will be returning for a second dose next Saturday “. Thank you GABBY, Hannah and Bird your service and food was excellent.

Enjoyed the afternoon lunch stop for barbecue plate. The pork ribs and brisket were tender and flavorful. The armadillo palace was a great space to host an indoor standing room only crowd for Drake Milligan and Gunner Latham!

A great restaurant! The grilled shrimp po-boy was so delicious. Hush puppies were perfect! Always outstanding service! The generous amount of food meant that I had my leftovers for dinner. Love, love, love ❤️ Goode Seafood Company!

This place was a real treat! My wife and I wanted a late lunch but weren’t all that hungry. I’d been wanting to try the Armadillo Palace for a while and it didn’t disappoint! It is a very cool place and not very busy because it was well after lunch. We decided to split a plate and order some Butter Biscuits that came with very soft butter and a seasonal strawberry jam, which was delicious!! The biscuits were great. The photo I added was after we already ate two of them. For our meal we ordered the Heritage Pork Rib Chop and wow was this good. The waiter was awesome and split the pork chop for us, which is why it looks so skinny in the photo, but it was perfectly cooked, very tender. For our sides we got the Smoked Chicken Collard Greens and the Bacon Cheddar Grits. Everything was great and came out very quickly. We will definitely be coming back to the Armadillo Palace! Thanks for a great experience!
