Love this hidden gem in downtown Houston. Located at Lyric Market, they prepare basic, good, Chinese food. The staff is always friendly and helpful & the prices are right. Check out the Lyric Market food hall located inside Lyric Tower. Convenient to all theater venues & open until 8pm.

First lunch of the new year. Didn't realize this was right by the office. The food was really good and the service was quick. You're in a shared dining area, so not sure i'd comment on the atmosphere. Will come again to try something else

I had a nice delicious plate of sesame chicken. They served it with broccoli and steamed rice and boy did it hit the spot! I plan to return to try some of their other dishes. Unlike other food court Chinese food, they cook each order fresh so they’ll hand you a pager. I really enjoyed the atmosphere at Lyric.

Doordashed from here and while portions are ok size the food is flavorless. Ordered the spicy chicken and asked for extra spicy but it had no spice. Not 1 pepper found. In addition the lo me in was flavorless and mushy. Pu pu platter was ok on egg rolls but wings appeared undercooked. In addition they left out my ribs appetizer that was ordered. Definitely would order from some of the other local Chinese places and avoid this one.
