Amazing food, awesome service, and a great atmosphere. Everything came out fresh and full of flavor, and the staff was welcoming and attentive the entire time. The vibe is fun and laid-back, making it a perfect spot to hang out, grab drinks, and enjoy good food. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to and recommending to friends.

If you are looking for the perfect neighborhood hangout, look no further than Frankenstein’s Bar and Grill. It is rare to find a spot that checks every box, but this place manages it effortlessly. Being so close to home, it has quickly become my go-to destination, and I am consistently satisfied with every single visit. The atmosphere is inviting and well-curated, but what truly elevates the experience is the community feel. On any given night, you’ll see locals like Victor and Tanya enjoying the vibe, which really speaks to how welcoming this place is for everyone in the area. It’s the kind of spot where you always run into friendly faces. Of course, the heart of the bar is the service. Raul and Leila are absolute standouts behind the pine. They are consistently great at what they do, bringing a level of skill to their cocktails that you usually only find in high-end speakeasies. They are attentive, talented, and make sure every drink is crafted to perfection. Between the top-tier drinks from Raul and Leila and the great company of people like Victor and Tanya, Frankenstein’s is a true staple. I highly recommend stopping by!

My family and I have frequently visited this bar. It’s close to home and we have always enjoyed the food, bartenders - especially Raul and atmosphere until tonight. We were served by the business “manager” named Nina so she called herself. She presented us with this menu - pics attached. When we ordered the bone-in wings which were advertised as $0.99/each she advised there was an error with the menu - the wing special was for boneless only. I referenced the menu for bone-in which I was happy to purchase. She said the printed menu was wrong and I said you should honor the advertised price. She then said she called bar owner to see if she could honor the price and he said no… okay. We also ordered wings to go and clearly advised her we would inform when to put the order in. The plan was to have fresh wings for the kids. At the Moment we wanted to enjoy our food and drinks as we usually do, then take the order to go before leaving. Half way through our meals Nina came to us with the to-go orders - mind you we didn’t ask for them as yet. Baffled, I informed her I clearly said I would tell her when we were ready for our to-go orders. She offered to re-fry the to-go orders already prepared, packaged and placed in front of us as we were eating . She then went on to tell us she felt like I was rude and condescending about the menu price and they were not a franchise. She said clearly, “I match energy.” We could go to Buffalo Wild Wings or Pluckers if we didn’t like the service… okay, we sure can! I asked to speak with the owner as her representation for the establishment was not acceptable. We then was speaking with the other bartender - didn’t get her name but as we were speaking Nina came back over and interrupted us and said. “Are you still talking… just leave already.” This chic has a lot to learn. I told her this was our neighborhood spot we come to and her service was unacceptable. There are may places to visit in Houston and although I love their wings, dealing with a classless bartender like her after a long day is not okay. My friend who just lost her husband had no patience for this type of service and told her just that… to say the least tonight was the WORST service we ever experienced at Frankenstein’s since we started coming her in 2008. Not okay! Lesson here is if you want to lose Patron’s tonight’s experience was the best way to do so. We experienced lack of customer service, attitude and felt challenged, especially with her saying “ I match energy… lady what??? As a professional in O&G I can tell you I will not ever tolerate someone speaking to me in such manner. I guess when your not a franchise you can talk to people however you want. Not here. My dollars can be spent anywhere.

“Me and my group always come for the food and Raul. Always a great experience. Bartenders are great food is amazing people are vibing, everyone is having a good time. I am not the person to complain but tonight there was something definitely off… we sat at the bar were served by Raul. Drinks were on point, service fun, fast and great as usual we ordered our favorite thing on the menu which is the Screaming Nachos. Every time we order nachos they take about 10 mins max or 15 on a super busy night. Tonight was not even close to being busy and my order took almost one whole hour. We thought Raúl had forgot and asked for our food multiple times he showed us the time when the order was sent to the kitchen but i guess the cooks were acting very slow today or doing what they wanted to do… in the end we got our Nachos almost at closing time. We still paid for them, Raúl offered to give us a discount or take them off to which we decided not to take. Service is always excellent so it was nothing against the bartender but maybe at the kitchen staff. Manager came by and check on us very politely offered and apology and offered a discount on our next visit. Managers and weight staff are beyond great but kitchen today was definitely a big disappointment…”

We saw this place from the parking lot and decided to go in and take a look. This place has a lot of room. It has basketball hoop games a boxing bag that you hit casino slot machines in the corner dartboard looks like a dance floor a couple pool tables a table seems like a very nice atmosphere. We ordered the classic burger with cheese and fries and the whole red snapper with rice and vegetables. My food was excellent. The red snapper was so tender. The seasoning was on point now the zucchini and squash was very soft and the broccoli sitting on top was a little too crunchy but overall, I would definitely come back. I also had a doctor version of a Long Island and it was good and strong..
