We were craving a deli sandwich with thick toasted bread and found this place on instagram. Decided to go try it and it was not good. We got two sandwiches with cold cuts and the cold cuts were basically thick unchewable cuts of bacon. I removed all cold cuts from my sandwich in order to be able to chew my food. The bread was cold. We also tried the pastor pizza as we love pastor meat and the pizza dough was close to raw. Super white dough that resembled frozen pizza dough. We decided to go home and finish cooking our food in an air fryer and it tasted way better as we also added more cheese to the pizza, finished cooking the pizza’s ingredients as well as cooking the “cold cuts”. Pastor meat needed more seasoning. And we spent $50….. for two people

Stopped in for the first time and was blown away by the Rocky Pizza. $14 fed 3 of us and we were blown away by the flavor and freshness. The cashier gave us a great recommendation and we were overly happy. Will definitely be returning!

If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. I didn’t think much of this place at first, it’s under the stairwell after all 😅. But wow was I wrong. I had the Godfather sandwich and the Gladiator pizza. Both were amazing. The chefs were actually in the process of marinating and stitching together the homemade porchetta for the next day. It marinates for 24 hours! I couldn’t believe the taste of everything. This is not your ordinary sandwich shop.

I was looking for a place for lunch in Houston Downtown and found myself in the Underground Hall where, among other offerings, you can get an excellent made to order thick sandwich at "Figata", where you will be welcomed by Carlos and his team. GodFather is very tasty, crispy and with rich tasty topping and filling. I took a picture, as it tells more than a lot of words!

Food was out of this world!!! I loved the Figata’s salad and dressing. Staff was really kind and attentive, plus the place is really clean. My food was ready in less than 10 min 🤩 I’ll be back for sure!! 10/10
