Fielding's Wood Grill

We went for the first time as a birthday dinner. And we we were there in time for happy hour, half price cocktails. Our server gave us good recommendations and he was polite and engaging. We enjoyed the whole package, service and food was excellent. So rare these days. We also liked the upscale food in a relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend!

The Woodlands has some good spots to eat at but Fieldings just became 1 of my new favorite spots. The food was amazing. They started out as a burger spot and have evolved into so much more.

Fielding's is a beautiful place, the atmosphere is very nice and warm. The waiters are very friendly and helpful, you never have to ask for a refill they just know and take care of it. The food on the other hand left something to be desired. I ordered the wygu burger without the brisket add on. The presentation (see picture) was underwhelming and the flavor was equally as disappointing. A strong vinegar flavor, with shredded carrots and what I think were parsnips. The fries were very good and my wife enjoyed her dinner, though I do not recall what she ordered.

We had a really good time at Fielding’s Wood Grill. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very helpful, which set a nice tone for the evening. The atmosphere definitely stood out and made the experience enjoyable. For food, we tried the grilled pork belly and deviled Texas eggs to start, followed by the double American griddle burger with green beans and a ribeye with fries. My wife ordered a gluten-free burger and appreciated having that option. The food itself was solid — not bad at all, though not necessarily remarkable given the price point. Overall, the service and atmosphere made for a good experience, even if the food didn’t completely wow us.

Had high hopes for this place but was very disappointed after we ate there. The place was really cold first of all. Service was pretty good but most of the food was not hot at all. I had a chicken sandwich with fries and the food waa luke warm. My wife had a fillet which has several pieces of fat. When you charge over $50 for a filet it better has no fat. Ordered the Brussel sprouts which had a good flavor but also lukewarm. Deserts were pretty good. Expected more from this place.
