Today I had a deeply unpleasant experience at this location. I acknowledge that I made a mistake by parking in an area that was not designated for me. I was visiting a neighboring establishment for pregnancy-related testing and was emotionally overwhelmed and nervous at the time. The sign was positioned slightly off to the side, and I honestly did not notice it in that moment. It was not intentional or done in bad faith; it was a genuine mistake while carrying a small child and handling a sensitive situation. I was not gone for long. However, when I returned, I found that my vehicle had been intentionally blocked by another car, preventing me from leaving. The posted sign clearly states that unauthorized vehicles will be towed. I fully understand that if I was parked incorrectly, the appropriate procedure would have been to call a towing company and wait for them to arrive. What is not appropriate is for someone to personally block another vehicle’s exit by parking behind it and physically preventing it from leaving, especially when the situation could have been resolved quickly and professionally. I went inside calmly to ask who owned the vehicle. I was told it belonged to “the boss,” but that he was out of town. When I asked how it was possible for the boss to be out of town while his vehicle was there blocking my car, I did not receive a clear answer. I simply asked for the vehicle to be moved so I could leave. When no solution was offered, I mentioned that I would have to call the police in order to resolve the situation, as I only needed to be allowed to exit. What happened next was completely unnecessary and unacceptable. Although my sister attempted to speak respectfully to resolve the issue, a woman came outside in an aggressive manner, yelling at me in front of others, raising her hands toward me, and making offensive comments about my physical appearance. She made personal remarks about my body that had absolutely nothing to do with the situation. At no point had I insulted or attacked her. All of this occurred while I was carrying a small child and being pregnant. I understand that parking rules must be respected. What cannot be justified is aggressive, humiliating, and disproportionate treatment toward anyone. I am sharing this to formally document behavior that should not be repeated with anyone else. Respect should be maintained, even when someone makes a mistake.
