ERK AND JERK

A few weeks ago, I went down to the Blodgett Food Hall to try Erk and Jerk. I saw a post from the owner and wanted to try the Chicken pasta. My husband and I both ordered the Chicken pasta and I also ordered the jerk fried wings. When the pasta came out, we were disappointed. It was dry, lacked any real flavor and looked nothing like the pasta in the previously mentioned post. The fried jerk wings were delicious though. Fast forward a couple weeks, I saw another post from the owner. I commented about my experience with the pasta. I wasn't looking for anything, just wanted to provide some constructive feedback so that he wouldn't have more disappointed customers. He apologized and informed me that he was training new cooks and offered me another pasta on the house the next time I stopped by. Fast forward to yesterday. I texted him to let him know I was coming down. There was a bit of delay, but, he came out personally to ensure me that my food would be ready soon. While I was waiting, he brought me out some jerk chicken tacos to try. He gave me enough pasta to last two days! Customer service is everything and I feel like he went above and beyond what was necessary in order to right my wrong. Everything was good.....the pasta, tacos and fried jerk wings.

The food was real good and they were open late night after the club. This my new go-to spot anytime of the day. They deliver and they got alot of food options. Oh btw them jerk wings are Fire!!!. Must try

I have searched HTX high and low for some authentic, GOOD Caribbean food and I have finally found it😩 this is the BEST jerk chicken I’ve had in years, and I’ve tried just about every Caribbean spot in the loop. Amazing portions for a better price than other restaurants. I will be back!!!!

Found this gem...and I am truly impressed...coming from NY it was difficult to find a good good west Indian restaurant but this right heaaaaaa....shout outs to Chef Djon for coming out and explaining the menu and hooking my jerk shrimp & chicken bowl up...it is sooooo delicious and flavorful..I will he backk soon for sure🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

Well, I decided to try what I kept hearing about. I was craving some Jerk wings, but sadly they were sold out, HOWEVER, I tried the Jerk Tacos...OMG, yessuh! Man, absolutely awesome and delicious. Tasteful. Great portion for your money (so glad because I'm a big man lol) .My palate was satisfied. Not disappointed at all. I'm a new customer. Can't wait to try the Wings.
