EL TIEMPO STAFFORD

Our experience at the Stafford location has always been very pleasant. The servers have always been very attentive and their customer service is great. We sit in Domingo’s section often and his customer service has also echoed the other staff as exceptional. We come fairly often and consider ourselves regulars, yet I’ve never written a review here before now shame on me I know. We come for their margaritas and fajitas mostly and it’s always fantastic. If you like great margs and fajitas I highly recommend this location. They have specials throughout the week and we like to come on Wednesdays which is fajita.

The Stafford location of El Tiempo was a complete disappointment. I ordered chips and what I got was not food worth serving to customers—it was a bag of crumbs and tiny broken pieces instead of the normal large, crisp chips. It honestly felt insulting, like I was given scraps. I’ve always loved El Tiempo and frequently go to the Greenway Plaza location, where the quality is excellent. But this Stafford experience was unacceptable, and I will never return here. If you care about your money and basic respect as a customer, check your chips before you leave—or better yet, avoid the Stafford location altogether.

The food here was amazing and the service here was also very good. Our server Urbano was very prompt and checked up on us multiple times in a very non-intrusive way. The fajitas were absolutely amazing we got the 50/50 chicken and beef la tana style with the serrano chiles garlic and cheese on top. Highly recommended.

The food was amazing. Large portions, very fresh, and super tasty. The male server was a bit rude. He got a little snappy with my husband when he asked for more salsa and chips and we did have to wait for refills on our drinks until another server was so kind to take care of that for us. This was my first visit to El Tiempo and it definitely will NOT be my last.
