We just went here for dinner. The person working the window was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, it took about 20 minutes for 4 tacos, a side of rice, and a plain quesadilla, and much of the order was wrong or didn’t taste right. Cuban vegan taco had beans and avocado, but no plaintains. Salmon taco was ordered without the cilantro sauce (it contains dairy, which I can’t eat), yet was covered in cilantro sauce. My husband’s shrimp tacos tasted off (like not fresh shrimp), so he couldn’t eat his. The only items that came out okay were the quesadilla and Mexican rice. Nearly $40 later….

Pretty consistent Cuban fast-casual restaurant. The loyalty rewards program could definitely use some work.

El Rey Taquería offers a delicious twist on Cuban and Mexican food. Best of both worlds. Portions and prices are very reasonable.

I had the Ropa Sliders and they were on point. The only disappointment was they do not serve homemade tortillas, which are a must in Texas! The cost was reasonable and I did get Miami vibes during my visit! #FlavorE

Tried El Rey Cuban & Mexican Cuisine and really enjoyed it! The Cuban sandwich was flavorful and perfectly made. The charro beans were the highlight—absolutely amazing. Everything else I ordered was good too, and the service was friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes.
