This Latin-inspired vegan food truck offers a classic combination of covered outdoor seating, a pleasant atmosphere, value, friendliness, and, most importantly, great food. It's in a food truck park with plenty of other non-vegan Latin food trucks for your meat-eating friends. We tried a variety of tacos; they were excellent; the wait was about 10 minutes as the food was made fresh. The food park wasn't busy because it was raining, so times may vary; still, the seating passed the time by quickly and buzzed you up when it was ready. There's a bubble tea truck, too, if that's your thing. The owner was friendly and flexible, willing to customize our order. All the food options may be considered a bit "heavy," and Kei's Vegan truck, which is not too far away, offers a wider variety of options if you're not into Latin food. When you're done, the car will take your food plates back. It was a wonderful experience; I don't know what they could have done better except to have a more convenient location for me. I highly recommend this truck for vegans looking for Latin food.

Super enjoyed this place. The proprietors are a husband / wife team. They make everything fresh. Their street corn in a cup (elotes) was cut off the cob, not scooped from a can. Delightful ! Their other dishes were unique & I would say “Best” in category. We had a mole dish- best mole ever ! I reached out to a number of friends to recommend El Mictlan, personally. We actually drove past this place bc we didn’t know it was part of a “food truck” pavilion. The entrance wasn’t clearly marked. Worth seeking out! Fun, inexpensive, great quality & yummy.

I had to check this places out on my way back to Dallas. It was worth the stop. The location is unique and along is other food trucks. I was shocked how delicious the food was. The taste is very unique and no beyond or impossible meat used. Service was good and the food quality was excellent. Unique dishes with unique taste. I cannot wait to return back to Houston to try more of their dishes 🤤. 10/10 I recommend. I order the quesadillas and tacos. 😍

This was a great find and we will definitely be back often. The food was very good, it had a great taste and flavor and tasted fresh and authentic. Which it was as the owner told us that everything is cooked fresh and the recipes are family recipes. This is definitely a food truck that puts love into their food for each person. If you are close by it's for sure worth a stop off.
