El Asador

If you know, you know. El Asador is truly a hidden gem. We’ve been coming here for years, and honestly, it has only gotten better—especially over the past few years with the new ownership. This visit was no exception. I had the shrimp ceviche, which was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. My husband ordered the street tacos, which were excellent as always. Their fish tacos deserve a special mention too—some of the best around—but really, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. And the margaritas? Hands down the best in town. Consistently well-made, not overly sweet, and just right every time. If you’re looking for authentic, consistently great food with strong drinks and a place that’s been quietly doing it right for years, El Asador is it. A neighborhood favorite that deserves more recognition.

Had a family dinner party for some Mexican food. Food was delicious and service was excellent. Restaurant is family kid friendly and had live music making the atmosphere more chill. I had the beef burrito with beans and rice. Churros with ice cream for dessert. Our server Tifany S was awesome and assisted us with everything for our dinner. Will definitely be returning again.

Absolutely loved this place! I ordered the vegetable fajitas with portobello mushrooms, and they were delicious — perfectly grilled and full of flavor. What really surprised me was the roasted chile they placed on the hot plate — it added such a great touch! I’ve asked for that in other restaurants before and they never do it, but here they did it without me even asking. The margarita was amazing, the service was super attentive and friendly ( I believe server’s name is Haris M ) and the place itself is very pleasant and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back! 🌮🍹

It was truly an outstanding experience overall! I am not quite sure where to begin... The wait time was quite reasonable for a party of six, approximately twelve minutes, and the server and service were absolutely exceptional! The food was incredibly flavorful! Everything we sampled was bursting with flavor, served hot, and simply delicious. I would certainly recommend giving it a try..

Visited this restaurant and it was a major letdown. The food was incredibly tasteless and lacked any semblance of flavor. Would not recommend dining here - there are better options out there.. not one plate finished !! But the waiter was nice, an although the place’s decoration scream Mexican the food was lacking the Mexican flavor..
