I had a very disappointing experience at Dick’s Sporting Goods. While attempting to access a dressing room, I pressed the assistance button and waited. An associate walked by, and after saying “excuse me” three times being intentionally ignored the first two she finally turned around and snapped, “she’s on her way. The interaction was unnecessary, rude, and unprofessional. She was very aggressive with her rude response. A simple, polite response would have been sufficient. Unfortunately, when I spoke with the manager, there was little acknowledgment or accountability for the associate’s behavior as also he seemed like he did not want me to identify her as he wouldn’t give me her name. This experience fell far below the level of customer service I expect at a place where I constantly spend money.

Incredibly disappointed with the customer service. Christmas return / exchange time and the cashier rudely declined the guy in front of us for an exchange because he admitted to wearing the shoes. They had no sign of wear and he needed a different size. Then I was hesitant for my exchange and thought since it’s a gift they could scan the box or look up by phone number but was told no to both. I will ask the the gift giver for the receipt but how awkward. Definitely a shame when it could be so much better. Fleet feet is so much more forgiving and accommodating.

Glitter Sweats

Im not one to leave a lot of reviews unless they are well deserved either good or bad. In this case this happens to be and leaning more towards a positive review. I Woodlands Mall location, tonight looking for a brand new pair of tennis shoes. The gentleman that was helping me just left me after he brought me a pair of shoes and then just disappeared. He acted as if helping me was painful and boring. However there was a very nice young woman by the name of Alyssa she works at the Woodlands Mall location. She was so helpful, patient, kind, professional, and was a great salesperson through and through. I could not speak any more highly of her then right now. She is a remarkable diamond in that store. She deserves to become the manager of the shoe department and teach the other sales reps how to treat customers, and sell. If it was not for Alyssa I probably would not be coming back to this location at all. Again I want to leave rave reviews for Alyssa not only does she deserve a promotion she deserves a bonus and a commission for the sale that she did with me this evening.
