Warlord Babushka

This is by far the worst ever desi restaurant in Houston. I ignored the low rating and went into to try. Everything was all over the place. The counter guy could barely speak English let alone read the order from phone screen. Gave away my “pickup order” to someone else. After battling for my food, I got this burnt biriyani. It was previous day’s food microwaved or pan heated bunch of times and the dark hard surface of the meat showed everything. Rest assured, I barely took into an account why this restaurant was a good spot for political discussion. Don’t go there. You can buy halal food from nearby stores.

Pay no mind to the negative reviews here. These tend to be entitled individuals. Owner was friendly, he cooked our food hot and fresh. I had the BBQ platter and the chicken was amazing and flavorful, the garbanzo sauce is so good. All of our food was good. If looking to try something new give this place a chance.
