⭐ 5 Stars — A Hidden Gem in Downtown Houston This is easily one of the best spots in downtown Houston for fresh, flavorful food. Whether you’re craving classic Indian breakfast items like poha, upma, or a strong Indian coffee — or you’re in the mood for tacos, sandwiches, or something quick — this place delivers every time. What really sets it apart is the variety. Just ask Manish Bhai, and chances are he’ll whip up something special even if it’s not listed on the menu. That personal touch is rare and makes every visit feel unique. The staff is consistently polite, friendly, and welcoming. Lunch options are plentiful, and if you swing by in the late afternoon, you can even grab hot chai and pakode — a perfect pick‑me‑up. A must‑visit for anyone who loves good food, warm service, and a place that feels like home.

10/10 for service. I initially tried chai from this place in the tunnels (can’t seem to find any other chai places in the tunnels) and the guy working there informed me that their chicken and beef is halal (turkey isn’t). Went back to try the food and portion sizes are very generous for the price. I was still a little skeptical about it being halal since there were no signs so I asked again before I checked out and he showed me evidence of the halal source! Appreciate the pleasant service

Fantastic Place to visit for Indian snacks.. Manishbhai, the owner very humble. Continuous flow of Indian people especially for chai. You get all the varieties like Vadapav, Samosa, Dalwada, Pauha, Chhole Bhature, Chai, Lassi etc etc… Opens early in the morning by 6:30. Must visit
