Dave's Hot Chicken

I went to Dave’s Hot Chicken around lunch time. When I went it, it wasn’t crowded at all. Only one person was ahead of me. But after I made my order, there wasn’t a rush! This was my first time there. I looked at the menu beforehand so I knew what I wanted already. I ordered a #4, which didn’t come with a beverage, by the way. I asked for my chicken to be medium hot. I had a feeling that this place would be hot hot. And the medium was hotter than I had expected, and I like my food spicy. I didn’t get slaw. Just fries. The fries were good. Crinkle fries aren’t my favorite, but these were good; crispy on the outside, soft in the middle. Excellent! The slider was good too. I dipped it in the sauce. Yum! I even dipped the fries in the sauce. I should’ve gotten a larger drink. And I am kind of also wishing I had gotten a shake. But there’s always tomorrow. The inside of the restaurant is colorful. The patio furniture is bright red. They had a walk up window to place and pick up orders. A man had his puppy with him. It was a nice solo lunch.

First time trying this place and we absolutely loved it . Definitely worth trying and without a doubt we’re coming back to eat here again . The service was great , the food was tasty .

Alexis and Binky were both so friendly and welcoming even though this was my first time at this location. They gave me great suggestions on spice levels and their favorite foods!

I heard good things and wanted to try. It was definitely better than some of these restaurants that over charge you for chicken and waffles. But it was just ok to me. The chicken was medium hot but that wasn't spicy. The actual chicken was bland. The waffle was good. It was fresh and had flavor. Not too sweet and didn't taste like fried doug.dough. for $10 it was great.

this is amazing. people hate on daves hot chicken so much, but it’s so good. their flavors are amazing & they have various of flavors to choose from unlike canes. binky was very helpful & a positive worker as well. he deserves a raise especially he laughed at my jokes. he went above and beyond to keep customers happy.
