Shout out to Jennifer and Gladys for taking such good care of us. What a beautiful place to experience!!! There are soo many cute details to the interiors of the place. We tried soo many of their variety of dishes and loved all of them. Soo unique and healthy options. Definitely worth visiting and experiencing this place. They also have both indoor and outdoor seating. And plenty of cool and cute items for purchase.

Cucharita is a cute spot with a colorful, cozy vibe, but overall it fell short for us especially for the price. We went on a Saturday and waited about 45 minutes, which is pretty normal for Houston brunch, but the value just didn’t match the cost once we sat down. We ordered a mix of breakfast and bakery items. The blueberry muffin and the concha were genuinely good, and my husband enjoyed his migas with avocado, though nothing about it stood out as special. I tried the Tlacoyo de Frijol, which was $12 for a small portion tasty enough, but not worth the price. Between the three of us, we spent close to $100 for a brunch that felt very minimal in terms of quantity. Drinks were another downside. They didn’t have regular coffee or tea, only their Café Cucharita, which has a very strong, distinct flavor. They also didn’t have Topo Chico, only a flavored mineral water I’d never tried before, and honestly didn’t care for. The server was also hard to find if we needed anything so I disliked that as well. We sat outside since the weather was nice, but the chairs were hard and uncomfortable, which made the longer wait and higher prices more noticeable. Overall, Cucharita is better for grabbing a pastry or maybe a single taco, but not for a full brunch. The food was decent, the pastries were the highlight, but the pricing, portion size, and lack of basic drink options make it a place I wouldn’t return to for a full meal.

The establishment is very cozy. I ordered the "Chilaquiles del Dia," but it was a poor decision, as it did not meet expectations in terms of flavor. The service was subpar, despite it being a relatively quiet morning. I have visited this location before, and the experience was satisfactory; however, on this occasion, the dish I received was not of the usual quality.

This place has small yet delicious and authentic menu. It feels like you are at your grandma house. Beautiful ❤️

Absolutely loved this place! The food was fantastic — the chilaquiles were bursting with flavor, and the Tostadas Chelo were just as delicious. The salsa verde really stood out, packed with bold, fresh taste. I tried the iced Café El Manuel, and it was so good! The pan dulce was soft, sweet, and the perfect way to end the meal. The service was excellent, super friendly and attentive. Just a heads-up: they don’t accept cash, so make sure to bring a card or use Apple Pay. I’ll definitely be coming back!
