I ordered a few times before writing a review because I wanted to really get a sense of the food and service. I’ve ordered three times now and each time the food arrived hot, seasoned to perfection with beautiful presentation. Finally! Food that is actually seasoned!! Many restaurants that I’ve tried are lacking in true flavor. My only gripe is the amount of dirty rice with the catfish ( not pictured) It’s sufficient but I do have big back tendencies so I always want a little more 🤭 I ordered yesterday and waiting for them to open so I can order again today. They live up to their name. This has become my new favorite spot. Oh and I had already started eating the catfish before taking this pic so that’s why the one piece looks like that and trust it was devoured shortly after. Look how beautiful it is 😍 And it taste even better 😋

Ordered MAWMAW'S OXTAILS RICE AND GRAVY and JERK CHICKEN PASTA* (new dish not yet on the menu) we were warmly welcomed by Ms.Shiela, while ordering she recommended her newest pasta ^* and offered how spicy we wanted the pasta and requested spicy! Love how she offered a spice preference for the pasta. Ms.Sheilas food truck is located within the chevron parking lot next to the gas station store. If you’re just rolling by, you’ll miss it! so don’t be discouraged from driving all the way in. Both dishes were delicious, oxtails were tender to the bone and the pasta was a hearty good portion. Ms.Sheila was very helpful and provided wonderful service, I will be back! #SupportLocal

When I say have mercy… have mercy… yes indeed this food is excellent and we did reg spice and enough for us because it’s so tasty. I did oxtails and shrimp and can get 3 servings out of my plate. My hubby did a pasta… are it all though. lol. My daughter did fried shrimp and can get 2 meals out of it. Try many dishes and share. They threw in some greens that taste like home. Will order that next time. This was our first visit and they will see us again. Great food. Actually this is from his wife Linda. He agreed though. lol.

Ordered two Gumbo at 16.99 a piece Very small portions for the amount of money spent. Gumbo was very salty and greasy. Shrimp undercooked. Never will order again One and DONE…

Definitely the best oxtail i've ever tried in the US as an Asian!! They had me comeback for second time in almost a week and the food still BANG as it always is, the oxtail is tender, juicy and flavorful. Creamy sauce is rich and perfect, no need any adjustment and I highly recommend u guys to go w the spicy option. Food is AMAZING and the staffs are friendly, they got it all. Please come to verify my word!!!
