Absolutely delicious, clean, authentic Mexican food. Our waiter Jorge was outstanding. The margaritas were fresh and delicious; the beer was ice cold. I had the enchiladas suizas, friends had the beef enchiladas and the chicken mole enchiladas. The mole sauce is outstanding. The queso fundido with chorizo was excellent too. I’m going to send a note to Chris Shepherd - feature restaurants off Antoine! Don’t sleep on Don Jose. Thanks to our friends Laurie and Merrie that recommended this place to us.

Was immediately greeted and promptly seated at the table of my choice. Chips and salsa were promptly brought out. Salsa was good not spicy at all. I ordered fajita enchiladas and they were the best I've had in Houston The rice and beans were also delicious. This place is a hidden gem

The waiter, I think his name was Jorge, was super great. The food was just really bad, like the cheese enchiladas and refried beans were watery and the rice tasted old. No one in our group finished their food. Others had diff more expensive plates and they all said their food was no good at all. It was pretty bad. The place is as clean as it can be, but the inside is super depressing. Felt like its about to close. Again great staff, just really bad food.

I am a member of the Tunica Biloxi Indian Tribe of Louisiana. For the past 3 years, I have gone there for our annual elders council meeting. The food is great, the staff is amazing every year. Every plate is steaming hot even when there 30 people at the event. If you have a small event to plan, check them out they have a small event room with excellent service.

Just had lunch here. The place was not busy and I got seated quickly. The staff was very friendly and the service was good. Jorge was my server. I had the beef enchiladas which were excellent and the best that I have had in a while! Chips and hot sauce were very good. I didn’t try the margaritas since it was lunch time and I had a busy afternoon. Prices are reasonable.
