I was visiting while in town. Wanted some seafood and I heard some good things about this restaurant. I ordered the garlic crawfish bread and the shrimp and grits. My cousin ordered the catfish with the two sides. Everything I ordered was good. Even the catfish my cousin let me try. I would definitely like to try more food from this restaurant.

This was our first time trying this location and it’s about that time of the season for crawfish and my wife and kids genuinely love it. At first appearance the place is nice on the outside and a decent size on the inside. We got greeted and seated promptly. I can talk about the food we definitely got fed with just what we ordered and had enough to take home. It was seasoned well, spicy, and the crawfish were really good sized compared to other joints we’ve been to recently. The Thai basil flavor extra spicy is what we ordered and the smack pack which is the blackened shrimp and rice that came with a garlicky buttery sauce which really brought a good umami to it. Now as for the service…..it wasn’t that busy in this location to warrant taking forever to get to us, just to make sure we had our drinks filled (you know if you eat spicy you’re gonna down your drinks pretty quick), and just to let us know we were being acknowledged. I will say Adam did a great job doing his best to wait on us. I give Adam a 9/10 for being genial and making sure we were familiar with the menu, the new app for loyalty rewards and trying to get to us as quick as he could I’m not sure if he was brand new to the establishment I’m only guessing because it looked like they had another person up there shadowing another server so that could’ve been the reason there were some delays to getting service but all in all the experience wasn’t bad. The food was definitely money.

I’ve been to the Crawfish Café in the Heights many times so was confident that The Woodlands location would be equally as good. I wasn’t wrong. The crawfish were fresh and well-cooked. The portions were generous, and there was a good variety of sauces and spice levels to choose from. The shrimp were plump and buttery. The catfish was crispy and the fried rice was moist and flavorful. The atmosphere is casual and lively. Service was friendly and attentive. Free parking is available in a nearby garage.

I drive half an hour here and originally couldn't even get the door to open so I walked back to my vehicle disappointed. I then called the location and got transferred to a human which said they were open and that the door is just difficult. I then walked back and the door opened thank goodness. I ordered the shrimp and oyster fried combo and picked okra and gumbo as my two sides. I also ordered a category 5 for my drink. The gumbo was amazing! Perfection! The fried food was also great but the flavor from the gumbo really stood out to me! The drink was really good too. However, I feel as if it was too strong. I wanted a good drink, not to get drunk so it was a little disappointing to me but I still drank it. The waitress was super friendly and helped me with my indecisiveness which was great. My total was $30. The restroom was clean as well. The whole restaurant was really. On the way out, that door was a challenge to open again! They should really fix the door!! I feel like if I was a smaller person, I either wouldn't be able to open it or that I would but it would close on me. So definitely need the door fixed. Overall, great place! I've recommended it to several friends already!

The seafood here was absolutely delicious with bold Asian-inspired flavors that really stood out. The crabs were perfectly cooked, tender, and coated in a rich, savory sauce that soaked into every bite. The crawfish were juicy and full of flavor, with just the right balance of spice and seasoning that kept you coming back for more. The shrimp were fresh, plump, and seasoned beautifully, making them incredibly satisfying. Overall, everything tasted fresh, well-prepared, and packed with flavor. I highly recommend everyone try this spot—you won’t be disappointed.
