After 100s of less than wow dining experiences in the woodlands over the years at upscale and franchise dining venues, this cafe is the BEST I’ve had in years. Breakfast was super affordable and really did taste homemade and super fresh! Not greasy, perfect home fries, jalaepno gravy and fluffy biscuits - and a reasonable portion. Omg, we just had the BEST breakfast here! The country fried chuckwagon biscuit meal was so good I ate the entire thing. My son got the breakfast burrito and it was HUGE! Prices are right, big portions, excellent service and no wait at 10:30am on Sunday. Highly recommend! 😃 👏

I've heard a lot about this place, but have never been. I was in the area so I stopped in to try it. I like it that it is locally owned and operated. The menu is huge. There is so much to choose from. You can get breakfast anytime here. They have a mix of burgers and TexMex available. There are also country classics like chicken, fried steak and turkey. The decor is local team, Houston stuff along with cowboy in country affairs. I tried some type of chicken enchiladas. I enjoyed them and I would eat them again. I was told to try the burgers next time I come back. I'll definitely do that as well. I see why people like this place.

We’re burger connoisseurs and we travel across states just to try new burgers and I must say COMPADRES TEXAS CAFE’S “Bubba Burger” is one of the BEST burgers we’ve ever had and absolutely the BEST we’ve had in Conroe, The Woodlands and Montgomery county. They always cook our burgers to perfection and they pay attention to notes left on delivery orders and they’ve never failed us, our families and our colleagues. Love how they ALWAYS include all the condiments as noted on all our orders especially when we order delivery. Not to mention their great menu selections. This place definitely cooks from their soul. We love how they care about pleasing their customers and they haven’t lost their touch with service and their delicious food is ALWAYS on point.
