This restaurant is outstanding! I lived in Colombia when I was a kid (my mom lives there now), and I miss Colombian food very much (where I live now, there is none). I was in this area for work, so I decided to try this place out tonight. They close kinda early (7 PM tonight), and I got there at 6:30 - despite my arriving shortly before closing, everyone was very gracious and polite. Excellent service. As is my tendency on the rare occasions when I can have good Colombian food, I wanted a bit of everything. Started with beef empanadas, chicken empanadas, and pandebono. The beef empanadas and the pandebono are EXACTLY what I'd expect to get when I'm in colombia. 10/10 for both of those. The chicken empanadas had a different dough than the beef, and I didn't like it as much. 7/10 for those. When I go back, I'll just get the beef. My entree was the thing I always order when I'm eating Colombian: carne asada (or bistec, at some restaurants) a la criolla. Portion was generous, and it was excellent. 12/10. Outstanding. I chose rice, beans, and a toston for my sides. All were good. The toston, in particular, was better than most - very thin and crispy. I wanted the chicharron de guayaba for dessert, but they were all out (understandable, since it was the end of the day). I got a roscon de guayaba instead. I can't rate it yet because I'm too full right now to eat it, but it looks great, and it's also a generous portion (about 9" in diameter). This place is awesome. I'm so happy I found it. P.S. I got a kick out of the Nevado del Ruiz mural on the wall - I've hiked to the top of it. 🙂

My husband and I loved our experience at Colombian House Bakery & Restaurant! The food was authentic and beautifully prepared with fresh ingredients. Even though we arrived closer to closing time, the staff was kind and welcoming. I ordered the regular bandeja paisa, and my husband got the Big Daddy - a generous plate with breaded steak, eggs, potatoes, and a side of pan de la casa (their amazing cheesy challah-style bread). The cherry on top? The pan de la casa was fresh out of the oven, and we couldn’t resist taking a whole loaf home. It was absolutely delicious and such a treat! If you’re looking for authentic Colombian cuisine made with care, this is the place. We’ll definitely be back! Prices are great too!

The coffee drinks are made well here. My wife enjoyed the frapucino coffee drink, I concurred. My hot capuccino with 2 splendas was perfecto, check the lid on the togo cup because mine came off way too easily....luckily I noticed it and planned accordingly ( manufacterer defect). I enjoyed a pan Hawaiina and my wife picked up a ring of bread for our kids....Guayaba bread, looked really good. I picked up a bag of whole Columbian coffee beans, brewed some and they are very good. They have a full menu and lots of goodies to try on our next visit.

If you want authentic Colombian food in this area of West Houston (Katy), this is the place to go. Decent prices, and an amazing food. I have to say an specific side note, you got to try the black coffee, it was absolutely delicious. I ordered Bandeja Paisa (Grande) and the absolute amazing sancocho de Res.... My goodness, you guys are awesome. Claudia our server was FANTASTIC... thank you.

Since the moment I walked in I was greeted and seated although it was super busy. The staff were super welcoming and polite and I don’t think I’ve ever been treated this well at a restaurant. The service and atmosphere were espetacular and the food was phenomenal! Will definitely be coming back
