An Austin classic, that I so dearly missed and was looking forward to having again. Chilantro at this location is located in what I see as a ghost kitchen in a food hall that serves a variety of restaurants. My go to is always the Kimchi fries, and the way to order is off your phone or a kiosk (which was extremely unresponsive). While the food was good, the fries were stale and the meat was dry. The tofu however was still juicy and delicious. Unfortunately the experience for this food though was a disappointment. The service was slow to receive food, and it was hard to gain the attention of the employees in the establishment. I personally will not be coming back to this location as the food was subpar and the experience was not great. My friend say had to wait a good 10 mins before he could get a fork. I think the new location they intend to open is a brick and mortar of themselves - and I do intend to try it! As the Austin location was simply amazing and a constant go to for me.

I have loved Chi lantro for years. Discovered when they were just a food truck in Austin. I think where this missed the mark is in the atmosphere of the 'food hall'. We were expecting a place like the Post. The very little interaction and kiosk ordering were impersonal, the wait seemed long, over 20 minutes. The kimchi fries were barely warm, the flavor was still good. Not sure if I will visit this location again but will definitely visit Austin locations.

Was going to Soulfood restaurant next-door but decided on something different because the weather was definitely hot when I seen a unique style restaurant and decide to give it a try it was excellent Restaurant I tried to kimpchi fries with Korean beef barbecue very tasty and hot.. restaurant was warm but I seen clearly AC is not working properly other than that experience was 5star (not much human interactionđ) because you mostly serve yourself place order at machine look at the screen when your order is ready to be picked up just go to the counter where a server has your orderđđż

Got the create your own bowl with the marinated tofu and tons of veggies and toppings. It was super filling and taste was AMAZING. We also got the fries and two small Ssams. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. Ordered through door dash and food was correct, fresh and on time! Definitely recommend and will be ordering from here again soon!!:))

First off if youâre use to Austin locations youâre in for a rude awakening in Houston. Itâs not a walk through line & itâs slow & location is horrible. I really hope they get a actual brick & mortar bc this place is simply not it & I personally donât trust places with make lines like Chipotle if I canât see them making my food bc my bowl in Austin compared to the one out here weâre both the same price but definitely not the same amount of food. Please just move to an actual location.
