Chef Michael and his team have catered two bridal shower events at our home in the past few months and also delivered a Thanksgiving dinner a few years ago. They have been great to work with, professional, timely and the food is always phenomenal!! This past weekend we had a taco bar menu, shrimp skewers, chips, salsa, guacamole and queso for the appetizer and oh my gosh - delicious!! Christina was also our bartender this past weekend making margaritas and they were 12/10! Highly recommend Chef Michael for any of your catering needs. I look forward to our next party with them!

From the first tasting, to the last bite. Chef Michael and team went to world’s end to make sure our wedding was perfect. My wife is a bit picky, me a bit flashy, we wanted an abundance of options at a reasonable price that tasted fresh and perfect… Chef Michael executed that vision amazingly. I can’t even begin to describe how awesome their team was from finding somewhere to get my wife’s favorite ice cream, to endless iterations of the menu to make sure everything to the sides was perfect, the team worked to design and fully customize everything to our exact specification. Special shout out to Amber for being one of the most professional, responsive, and amazing organizers I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Overall, Chef Michael may be one of the best choices we made with our March 2021 wedding. They went out of the way to tour the venue with us and come up with a unique game plan for our food being cooked on site and even left us the cutest picnic basket with treats for us to take home afterwards. Food was a big focus of us for our wedding and I couldn’t recommend anyone better than Chef Michael. We tried caterers from all over Houston and Austin big and small to find the perfect one and no one ever even came close to Chef Michael for quality, taste, and value. I’m honestly going to need to book Chef Michael again in the future just to eat that great food again.

My Thursday started terrible, but ended up being fantastic. Imagine planning an elaborate party for your wife's 50th birthday only to have your caterer cancel 24 hours before hand because of a COVID outbreak... ugh. it was the worst. I called Chef Michael - who got back to me while he was on the way to another event - and after a quick 5-10 minute description of both the situation and what i had been trying to do ended with a reply of "Don't worry Darren we'll get you taken care of." We swapped some emails to get the final menu dialed in, and true to his word the next day there he was. Chef Michael and his team took over my kitchen, set up a beautiful display, were the epitome of professional, and left my kitchen spotless. The food was beyond my expectations and was also met with rave reviews from our guests. They had even packed up the left overs in to-go containers! Whether you have a big party or a need for a small dinner event Chef Michael's Gourmet Kitchen is who you need to call. I know in future I wont have to search or look for recommendations, we've got a caterer we will go to without question. Thanks for everything.

I can't even begin to express how amazing, pain-free and professional this catering experience was. My wife and I got countless compliments on what an outstanding job Chef Michael did on the food and the presentation! The aesthetics of everything was top-notch and the food was just unbelievably delicious, right down to the lemonade (big hit too)! So many of our guests asked about Chef Michael, even into the evening after he left. What was also amazing was the portions for the amount of people we needed to feed was absolutely spot-on! It was fantastic all the way around and we look forward to more occasions with Chef Michael's Gourmet Kitchen -- without a doubt! From my entire family, thank you, Chef Michael for a wonderful experience.

Chef Michael catered our mothers Celebration of Life party and did an amazing job. He prepared all her favorite foods to perfection and ensured that the items that needed to be cooked on site were as needed. He was organized, professional and offered his expertise when we needed. The food was delicious and all our guests were happy. The table was beautiful. If we could give 10 stars we would!
