Drove to Rice Village just to visit this store. Great selection and very good cheeses, but the staff was far from friendly. The manager/owner kept giving us the side-eye when we asked for a little sample of each of the cheeses we ultimately bought. The young man seemed nervous or clueless. There wasn't an even an attempt to engage the customer. It was as if the cheese was there to be seen, not purchased and eaten. We spent well over a $160, but we won't go back. Very disappointed with the experience. Perfect example how customer service sells a product and builds a customer base. You lost us

What a wonderful surprise. A cheese shop equal to any you could find anywhere in France, right here in Houston. I signed up for their monthly cheese club and the selection they proposed was awesome. And with a wine that paired perfectly. If you enjoy cheese, you must give your taste buds the most excellent experience of visiting this shop. I will be back every month without fail.

Visited to check out new store and couldn't have been a more enjoyable experience! Lovely shop with kind, helpful staff & owner. Selected a honey truffle goat cheese and a brie as well. Carry all the accoutrements needed & other delicious local food items. Dangerously close to home, but looking forward to next visit for scrumptious new treats!
