The food was good and my family enjoyed it all. The owner was very friendly, and he talked to us for a while he actually made time to talk to us. They celebrated my wife's birthday just because. The staff was great, and the food portion was good also. Definitely try it out if you're in Spring Texas.

This is a long overdue review. I have only been here once about 3 months ago. I ordered salmon with rice and Cajun pasta. I was grateful for the FB promotion they had going on for the BOGO. There was only one server running around so it took awhile for him to get to me which didn’t bother me too much. He said he would call me once my order was ready. He gave me an estimate of 20 minutes. After waiting 40 minutes I went back inside and I waited about 10 minutes and he would just walk by me and not acknowledge me. He looked flustered maybe that’s why. I finally received my food and when I got home I realized he had charged me a 20% tip before I tipped again not knowing he already gave himself a generous tip. The food looks great but it was just good. It needed more seasoning. The corn bread made the container it came in shrivel up and the honey was fried to the container as well. The corn bread was dry. I haven’t been back to try again. I will update if I do.

The fried catfish was perfectly fried but the rice absorbed the yummy Étouffée so next time I’ll get the mashed potatoes or grits. The wings had good flavor but huge (bang for the buck) but will ask for them to be cooked a little longer since they were so big. Overall our first experience here was a great one and we’ll return.

I’d like to discuss the fried chicken here. It reminds me of my grandmother's delicious fried chicken. The skin had the perfect crispy texture and it was incredibly flavorful. The first time I tried it, I paired it with fried rice, and the second time with Gouda cheese grits. I want to emphasize that you can't go wrong with either side. This restaurant is the only soul food restaurant in Spring, and I hope they continue to receive support from our community. I certify this bar and grill.

New spot in Spring Texas that replaced Qshi. The food is on point here and my compliments to the chef. If you're I the area you have to check them out. A nice patio is being setup and the bar is spacious. The service was quick and very attentive. A spot I'll always visit when I'm in the area.
