Very casual atmosphere. It’s a food truck with specialty tamales. The guy who took our order was super friendly. We had the oxtail and also brisket tamales which were delicious. We enjoyed their Mac & Cheese and their beans were tasty. It was a nice day, so sitting out in the community patio worked out good. Beer, cocktails and various flavored lemonades were available. The wait for our food I thought was too long - over half an hour - and they were not busy. It’s not likely we will return. Although the food was good, it really wasn’t that great for the wait.

The person working there was nice and friendly he answered all my questions. Wish I didn't get the smoked brisket tamales. Did not like the taste note the texture of the meat. The meat was basically like grinded to me. The masa however had good consistency not falling apart which was nice. I feel like I basically wasted $27 on something that tasted nasty to me. So basically if you go please don't get smoked brisket it taste disgusting. Just stick to the basic tamalie fillings such as chicken pork and just beef nothing over the top like I did.. Customer service was great tamales sucked

This was my first time trying, and I will definitely be going back. I purchased the brisket, chicken, boudin, oxtail, shrimp broccoli and spinach tamales. OMG! They taste so good. The service was great, Shinitri helped me with my order online.💯

I always ate the traditional pork tamales until I saw the food truck that sold different varieties nearby a hotel! The three kinds of tamales are Oxtail, Classic Brisket, and the Cajun Chicken. My favorite is the oxtail because the masa absorb the flavors from the meat. It is seasoned very well. I would just ordered more of that one! It was a great experience to try and plan on returning again another time.

After trying the brisket and oxtail tamales last Saturday we decided to go back and get more of the oxtail tamales today they were good. Mistake! Although the service was good the wait time was ridiculous! When I placed my order I asked what was available I was told Cajun chicken and boudin, it would be a 40 minute wait for the oxtail tamales. I ordered what they had available thinking I would get my order without any wait time and leave. I was surprised when she handed me a buzzer and was told they would buzz me when my order was ready. After 45 minutes of waiting, I got back in line for another 15 minutes only to be told they were working on my order. Which seems to be the standard phrase when you approach the window with a buzzer, this was told 2 other customers who had placed their orders right before me 45 minutes prior. I asked if the oxtail tamales were ready and she said yes. So I ordered and paid $30 for a dozen oxtail tamales only to get home and only have half dozen. I’m annoyed because I waited an extremely long time in the heat for tamales that were supposedly already cooked spending $27 and then paid $30 for oxtail tamales and not have the full dozen. It’s not around the corner so it’s a lesson learned for me.
