I always tell my brides the best way to decorate your ceremony and reception is with your florals, and hiring an artist who is talented and can bring your dreams to life is not always an easy feat, but Mariela is truly talented and has an eye for it. I cannot say enough about how amazing and talented Mariela is. During our first call, the only thing I did was show her the dresses my bridesmaids were wearing and said "jewel tones." At that point, I had already scrapped my 150+ person wedding in Puerto Rico, and was getting married down the street from our house in the Houston Heights with 25 of our closest family and friends. I fundamentally did not want to plan a second wedding and gave her little direction. But boy, did she deliver! Our small group of guests and a much larger virtual audience were so impressed with our flowers. My bouquet was unreal! The family team at Casa de Flores takes a lot of pride in their work, and it definitely shows!

Mariela and her team are heaven sent! I was having issues with another vendor which I had to let them go 2 weeks before my wedding, but Mariela and her team came to the rescue. I honestly wish I would have found her sooner because she was so easy to work with and has so much talent. The Casa de Flores team put together the most beautiful and perfect arrangements in under 2 weeks and I could not have been happier. Don't think about, just book them!

The only way to describe Mariela is that she is an artist. I am still in awe of you beautiful our flowers were! Starting from the first call: I spoke to many other florists, Casa de Flores being the fifth. Within five minutes of speaking with Mariela, I know that I would be choosing Casa de Flores. Her curiosity about what I wanted as well as her way of describing her vision helped me visualize what we would be getting. After speaking with four other florists that listed off flower names that I had never heard of before that left me struggling to really understand what I would be getting, I knew she was the one! After we spoke, she sent a beautiful proposal filled with pictures of each individual flower she selected, as well as color palettes, inspiration images, and mood boards. With this proposal I perfectly understood her vision and what she would be designing for me, and I was excited! The day of our wedding, when the arrangements arrived, I was floored. They were perfect. Everything she constructed exceeded my expectations in every way imaginable. I can only hope that my attempts to preserve my bouquet (AKA my gorgeous piece of art) will be successful. Everything from the boutonnieres to the table arrangements to the alter arrangements to the cake topper to my sisters bouquets were stunning and flowed together perfectly. So perfectly that my mother refused to leave anything behind and we somehow managed to get everything into our carryons and back home to Boston to preserve and cherish :) Thank you Mariela for your artistry, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail. - Annie + Rob
