Cake Fine Pastry

This is the second time my friends and I have gone. We usually go really early in the morning and sit and talk for a while. The staff always makes us feel welcomed and we never feel like we are being rushed. The drinks are delicious. They have a white chocolate coconut drink that's so delicious 😋

I love love this coffee shop. I've been coming for years and it never disappoints. It's definitely better than the other options on Barker Cypress.

Ordered an Italian cream cake with vanilla buttercream and strawberry filling. The cake was dry, there were very few strawberries, and the buttercream was too sweet, flavorless, and almost chalky; like nothing but shortening and powdered sugar. We would have been better off buying a cake from Walmart or making one ourselves. I'm writing on behalf of my mother because she's too nice to leave a negative review. She doesn't even know that I'm writing this. I want to say that our experience may have been due to late notice, but even if that were the case I would at least expect to receive something edible. We're probably going to end up throwing it out with not even a quarter of it gone. 😮‍💨 I hope y'all hold yourself to a higher standard than this.

The small gem of a coffee shop was recommended as a meeting place by a new business associate who's been going there for years, and if he wanted to keep it a secret I can see why. Jerry and Liz have done an incredible job building and running a coffee retreat and have hired a team of professionals who understand customer delight, not just satisfaction. They're always happy to see me and they bend over backwards to insure my enjoyment. Plum Coffee Shop is my designated meeting and relaxing place, and I've recommended it very highly to my friends and closest business associates. BTW, if you just want to get-it-to-go, they have a drive-thru-with-a-smile window. Great coffee and tasty treats, polite and professional team, immaculate restrooms, pleasantly tranquil environment with WIFI. They are several coffee shops closer to home but for my dime Plum is worth the drive.
