This is a new restaurant in town with very authentic karachi taste and freshly cooked food. We tried Nihari and Shanvari chicken Karahi and both taste fantastic. They cook everything made to order so better to calm ahead. Chai was also very tasty and authentic. So good variety of dishes and also Mexican fusion food like tacos etc. The lady on the counter (Maliha) is do nice and welcoming. Overall A+ experience.

We had a fabulous time at the restaurant, the manager Eman greeted us with a big salam and ensured that we were very well taken care of ! The owner of the restaurant came to check on us too! The food was delicious and the portions were generous! I’m glad we found this place in Houston! Will definitely be coming back soon 🥰

This place is an easy 9/10 and has the best karahi I’ve tasted in Houston - that’s a big claim as Houston has the best karahi in America and you go head to head with amazing places like Aga’s and Mai Colachi. This is another Toronto halal import and we decided to try it today during its soft opening phase. Other Toronto imports in the area have been avg or below so I was honestly not expecting much. We ordered the protein combo nachos, bun Kabab, Shinwari mutton karahi, butter chicken handi, daal makhni handi, rumali roti, kheema naan and regular naan. I’m not exaggerating when I say everything was next level. When the server said it would take 40 min to make the karahi, I knew we were in for a treat - that meant we were getting everything from scratch and that it would be fresh. That’s exactly what it was. They officially open end of February and I can’t wait to go back. Please check this place out!

Cafe Pyaala serves very authentic Pakistani food and they pride themselves on their freshness. Everything was cooked to order and tasted like it. One downside was is the cook time is longer than typical, but well worth the wait. The mutton Shinwari karahi was flavorful and had good depth, the nihari was served hot, and everything on the bbq platter was great, the dhaga kabab and chicken boti especially stood out to me. Overall, the quality of the food really stands out. It’s a small business with a lot of potential and definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for authentic Pakistani cafe style food, my go to neighborhood spot for desi food
