Burns Original BBQ

This dish was truly enjoyable from start to finish. It would be even better if the potato came without foil, saving the extra step, plus having the sour cream mixed inside would add more flavor in every bite. Even with those small preferences, the taste was excellent, comforting, satisfying, absolutely delicious.

I was very bothered with this visit. I really had a desire for some BBQ & someone recommended Burn’s BBQ. I had forgotten about them because it had been years since I had visited them. And although they are close to an hour drive away, I really wanted BBQ & I could not honestly recall of my previous experiences were good or bad so I made the trip. I hate that I do not have anything good to say about the meal. It just was not good. My sandwich was virtually all gristle and fat. My potato wasn’t moist and was pretty skimpy on the meat.

This is one of my first bad reviews and I usually don’t write any but this place was just straight up trash. First off we come and I ask for a baked potato, I politely asked what comes on the baked potato and the cashier was rude and just kept saying everything comes on the side so I paid for extra cheese for both of the potatoes I got. Then I get the potatoes and everything is on them. So I paid for extra cheese for BOTH and it comes on it. Okay boom then, I’m eating the baked potato and it tastes like I’m eating straight air. It has no flavor at all. The barbecue sauce tastes like nothing at all, it’s barely any chopped beef on it, and it’s just nasty. Then as I’m trying to at least make some of it the rude cashier comes and starts cleaning the table in front of me with this water that smelled like bleach. It was just wraps from there never coming here again. If y’all do please don’t get the baked potato😂

My daughter and I came for Baked potatoes…meat was bland with no flavor….my daughter said it was like eating $34 worth of air. Had high hopes for Burns because we hear so much about it. Charged for cheese because she said it was on the side so we asked for cheese.

Picture probably doesn’t do this justice. Basic place but it’s so authentic. People working here are great and the brisket, burnt ends and sausage are amazing
