PLEASE READ🚨 ! My first time at this location which is located at 315 Travis st (it’s curbside only and you will park In front of the HOUSTON painting to wait on your food) was nothing short of AMAZING when it came to the food (beef Egusi and pounded Yams) I’ve ordered this literally 5x in the last 2 weeks . Being that the food is made to order I suggest you don’t order if you are on a time sensitive schedule . I show grace because I know it’s one person cooking and ideally I don’t like rush food so I ALWAYs choose a time frame where I’m able to wait on fresh food . I see the other reviews and can understand some of you all frustration but let me tell you that the food is really Good and flavorful and hope that the cook can redeem himself to those who were disappointed. But I can only speak for me when it come to the food it’s a 10/10 highly recommended 🙌🏾

I purchased this yam chips and to my disbelief, this is $15 plus tax nearly $20 at a gas station plus it was burnt and the most upsetting thing I also purchased soup with no chicken and it the soup came with all chicken. The ticket pacifically said no chicken and he recommended beef or fish. I called and the person I spoke to said that he wasn’t the one that did the food but he will send me my refund. I’m waiting to see if it comes if it doesn’t I’ll have an updated review.

Terrible experience. I was charged twice for my meal, and even after providing clear proof, the staff refused to correct the mistake. This is unacceptable customer service and extremely unprofessional. I will not be returning, and I’d strongly recommend avoiding this place until they learn how to treat customers fairly.

I’ve had plenty of Shawarma both in Nigeria and Houston. This shouldn’t come out of anyone’s kitchen! Who sends a burnt product out of their restaurant for a customer to eat! This clearly shows this restaurant doesn’t care about quality. Now I have to spend money somewhere else after waiting a very long time for this. I would give a negative rating if I could.
