BRIX Wine Cellars

Came to this small intimate restaurant to give it a try. Seated immediately and greeted by a good waiter( he got brownie points from me for saying he would check on things he didn't know instead of bluffing his way through👍). Wine list was short in all categories yet being a small restaurant we understood. Hubby had the short ribs. His comments were that it tasted good but too salty and meat pieces were too tiny. The noodles cooked al dente were perfect to him. I had the risotto with shrimp (deleted the roasted corn as I am not a fan of corn). The risotto was cooked perfectly yet the dish lacked flavor and I offered suggestions to the waiter to relay to the chef to enhance the dish. Hubby ordered the bread pudding for dessert. It was definitely a different take on it. A bit too sweet for my liking yet I enjoyed the few spoonfuls. We both agreed that this place has the potential to be much more especially since the waiter stated that everything is scratch made.

I recently hosted a Baby Shower in one of BRIX’s private rooms and the experience was exceptional from planning to execution. Nita attended to every detail, most of which I hadn’t even considered. The food, service, attention, kindness, helpfulness from all staff members was extraordinary, resulting in a memorable and beautiful event!

I'll start with a disclaimer that we didn't eat any food during our visit to BRIX. My wife and I had dinner at a different restaurant and decided to have drinks at BRIX after. This was our first visit to BRIX but it will not be our last! We were lucky enough to be seated with Logan as our waiter and sommelier, and he was amazing! My wife tried a cocktail and I asked Logan for recommendations for a wine flight and after learning my tastes, he not only recommended a great flight, but a fantastic glass of wine after as well. He even brought a sample of wine for my wife based on our chats about what we like and don't like in wines! Logan's passion for BRIX was very clear and it was our interactions with him that really took our visit to a 5 star. His knowledge of not just wines, but also the menu as a whole really made it clear that we'll be back! I can't wait!

We booked their Grotto room for a wedding dinner for a small party, and I have nothing but positive things to say! They were so gracious and helpful, even as we kept coming throwing new questions/requests at them, like could we bring in a cake and, when the cake was larger than our cooler, could we drop it off before they opened? (Yes and yes.) Our server Rick took wonderful care of us all evening, and the food and drinks were wonderful! I think I was the most familiar with their menu in our group, buy everyone came away happy, from the shrimp scampi bruschetta appetizers and champagne to the final coffee with our wedding cake, which they cut up to serve. (Again, not their cake! ) It was a wonderful cap to a wonderful day, and I'm so appreciative and thankful!

Loved this place. Period. The atmosphere, the service, and the food. No complaints. Ready to try again! All I have to say is the Nashville Hot Chicken Nachos better still be on the menu. Fire!
