This was better than expected! I travel quite a bit and normally eat out but this place was amazing. Our waiter Miguel was great and the drinks and the food were great. We ended the night outside enjoying the wonderful scenery. I would definitely recommend! 5 Stars ⭐️

Brenner’s on the Bayou is hands-down one of the most beautiful spots in Houston for an intimate outdoor ceremony. I've the pleasure of photographing a few micro weddings here. They have several spaces available for celebrations. The ceremony space feels private and lush, especially with the sound of a harpist echoing through the trees. Also, the garden area is breathtaking. Following the vows, couples and their guests usually enjoy a cocktail hour followed by dinner that is absolutely delicious. It’s the perfect venue for couples who want a seamless transition from a romantic garden ceremony to a high-end dining experience. Highly recommend for any 'micro' or intimate celebration!

Amazing culinary experience! The food was everything, from the delicious crabcake and shrimp appetizers to the Godiva chocolate soufflé. Entrees and sides were masterpieces. Even had a perfect mocktail which our extraordinary server Mikaela helped the bartender craft perfectly. Mikaela was attentive, personable and efficient. The entire waitstaff did an incredible job. Thank you for a wonderful pre-Valentine’s Day dinner!

We went for Christmas Eve dinner. I downrated dinner as I was told that it would decorated up for Christmas. Yes, there was a tree but not much beyond that. The wait staff didn’t do much either like wearing festive aprons, etc. And no special food or drink menu. How much effort does it take to make slight modifications to merry up the evening? Hubby had lobster bisque which he rated a 4/5 as it was served cool. I had Roquefort salad which I rated 5/5–great tomatoes on side! My main was the Ponchatrain seafood which was very good 4/5 and hubby had pork ribeye 3/5–it was overcooked & small portion of edible meat. Asparagus 4/5. Bread pudding was 3/5–far too firm. Plus Two cocktails, 2 glasses of wine. $239 out the door We agreed we have checked the box on Brenners. Good to try but won’t return.

We had a wonderful date night here! From the wine to the last bite of food, everything was delicious. I had the filet mignon and julienne potatoes, I'm not sure if that was the name, but they're cheesy and dreamy. The service and atmosphere were also spectacular. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for a romantic evening or family dinner.
