This restaurant exceeded every expectation. My husband and I stopped in last minute, hoping for something delicious without a high price tag, and we were genuinely blown away. The food was exceptional—one of the best French onion soups I’ve ever had. The steak was perfectly cooked, and the selection of five different sauces added the perfect finishing touch. The truffle fries were outstanding and reheated beautifully the next day. Presentation across all dishes was impressive, and the dessert was a highlight. The apple tart featured thinly sliced apples cooked to perfection with just the right amount of sweetness. The service was equally remarkable. The staff was warm, attentive, and thoughtful—from offering a purse holder to making small accommodations to enhance our experience. We also noticed how kindly they treated the couple next to us celebrating an anniversary, going above and beyond to make their night special. I can’t recommend this place enough. The quality of the food for the price point is outstanding, and the staff is genuinely kind. I’m already planning to return for my birthday.

the food was immaculate! we went for my fiancés birthday and we had mushroom ravioli, i had the mushroom risotto and he had the duck confit. our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable and nice! i think his name was antonio . the cocktails were also amazing and i highly recommend the apple tart dessert it pairs extremely well with the espresso martini. the restaurant is very clean and is decorated very beautifully . the view of discovery green is also a plus, especially if you have fond memories there. we had one of our first dates at discovery green so it was a very meaningful intimate experience. will most definitely return again ! also it’s a quiet restaurant so it is perfect for those whom are sensitive to loud atmospheres which i appreciated greatly.

Lovely French venue with high class service and food. Reservations can be made online and are recommended. Loved the salmon crepe, and my colleague had the duck confit and said it was perfectly cooked!

We came for Houston restaurant week on a Saturday night, all the staff seemed to be preoccupied when we arrived. We were waiting about 45 minutes before we even received water. Our appetizers came before we received bread and water. The service was incredibly slow which soured the experience. We had to ask several times for basic things like sugar, water etc. The saving grace was the food! All of it was fairly good! The seafood risotto maybe needed a bit more salt, but we loved the crab cake, ravioli and ribeye. Ravioli could’ve been a bit warmer Not sure we’d come back just because the service was super rough, friendly staff maybe just understaffed for the rush.

My wife and I decided to pop in for a date night just cause. The ambience was exactly what we were looking for. Despite coming in way before sunset, it still felt intimate with the sunlight streaming in. The staff was kind and attentive and set the tone for the visit. Now onto the food: My wife ordered the Steak Frites. She just ordered it for the fries but, to my surprise, said the steak was very tasty and would definitely order again which is probably a first for her. She does recommend getting the salad dressing on the side as it can get a little heavy. I ordered the Sole Meunière and I can tell you that it tasted great. It was light but filling because of that delicious browned lemon butter sauce and had a perfectly delicate crisp. Overall, I would recommend this place.
