This is a pretty good pizza spot! The ingredients are fresh, and you can order the pizza to your liking. Parking is on the backside of the restaurant (technically, the front is facing the green space in the middle of the complex), but they do have the rear entrance open for accessibility. There are kiosks for you to order at, and they bring your pizza to you while you sit outside. There are accessible tables, in addition to a green space that kids were running around in.

There is not enough crust on this pizza. For a $24, two ingredient pizza, there should be a little bit more crust under the cheese. The flavor is average. Didn’t really know what to expect but it turned out to be kiosk order type of set up. Either you sit outside or you take it with you because there are no tables inside. They don’t offer free water. They don’t have any ice. It’s a good It was cool outside, so my Coke bottle didn’t warm up too fast. So essentially, you order, you go get it, you clean up after yourself. But of course there’s that ever present tip screen when you order and before you get your food. So I guess tipping just doesn’t mean the same thing these days. We’re tipping for people just doing their job. We’re tipping to help the owner of the establishment avoid properly paying their workers.

We love having this pizza gem in the Oak Forest/ Garden Oaks area. If you are dining at the Stomping Grounds, this is a great option to pick up and enjoy in the courtyard. We love it for take-out as this is not intended to be an indoor dining situation. Their dough is so good- almost pillowy with a SLIGHTLY charred finish. Highly recommend!

Disrespectful and Overrated Bollo Pizza is a perfect example of a restaurant trying to “reinvent” food that doesn’t belong to them — and failing miserably at it. They take flavors and dishes that clearly come from Mediterranean and Middle Eastern traditions and strip them of all authenticity, turning them into some trendy imitation for Instagram. The pizza and so-called “flatbreads” taste nothing like what they’re pretending to be inspired by. It’s bland, overpriced, and feels like a parody of real food cultures. If you’ve ever had the genuine version of what they’re copying, this place will just make you upset. Houston has plenty of family-run spots that do this kind of food with pride and respect — Bollo Pizza isn’t one of them.

Pizza and food was delicious. Only 4 stars because they ask for a tip but you have to order yourself and pick up the food when they call your name. They need to take out the tip question at the time of check out. Other than that, great location. Taste was fantastic.
